This is the video I've been waiting for. Exactly the problem I've been having and other videos didn't seem to address this. Took it apart and it's just as you said. Gonna replace everything is needed. Thank for the part numbers too

Glad you enjoyed it! We are just starting out at this so the videos are getting better each time. Any suggestion are welcomed or any repairs that you may want to see.

Great Video. Now can you do one with a turfmaster HDX? The transmission is 3 x's larger and the Kohler 224cc engine is too tight to the bolt , you have no space to pull to bolt out on top of the deck.

Great vid, and very helpful showing part numbers. Any way to diagnose the wear without taking it apart? Also do you ever come across a worn engine pulley? Thanks

I havent seen a worn pulley yet. If the belt is burning often then just replace the brake arm. They last a while for homeowners but commercial cutters burn through them about twice a year.

I have decided the extreme heat generated from the engine, transfers to the steel pulley, which heats up the new OEM blue belt, causing it to fail prematurely.

Interesting though i am sure that doesn’t help the situation. There are many factors causing failure not just any one single thing.
