So begins the yearly tradition of doing Resident Evil. Next year, Resident Evil 2, then Resident Evil 3, and so on.
The next episode of Platinum Journey will be South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
Cool you're doing the RE series, 4 is the best in my opinion but sadly doesn't have a plat but still got all the available trophies

4 is my favourite too. The remake is in development so by the time I get around to it, it should have a platinum trophy.
I like MGS4 and would like to do an episode about it at some point. Big undertaking though.

This platinum looks way beyond my ability/patience. Kudos to you and anyone who got it.
Yea some games are not to hard platinum just annyoingly tedious. Tales of vesperia, and tales of zesteria are like that. Both are easy to platinum but are so tedious and time consuming thats its frustrating and annyoing.

This is probably my favourite game ever! I actually enjoyed this platinum. I was probably like 13 when I wrote down every step of the game so I could do the speedrun. Good times...😂😂 Great episode mate!

When I first played this I felt overwhelmed but after playing it a few times it was so fun that replaying it didn't seem like a chore at all

One of my favorite franchises ever.
I always like the "revenge" runs these games let you have with the weapons that have infinite ammo. You dealt with all the struggle, and then the game lets you have fun and you can blast your way through everything.
Great video. This was a fun platinum for me.
You ought to do platinums for the remakes of RE2 and RE3. They're pretty fun and not as difficult as this game, IMO.
The game letting you blast through is great.
I will indeed be doing RE2 and 3. RE2 this year, RE3 next year.

Loved getting this platinum did a playthrough a day honestly didnt mind playing through it so many times
The playthroughs are varied enough not to feel repetitive. I didn't mind the later playthroughs either.

You're welcome. I'd have people ask me what a certain piece of music was and I would have no idea. Even worse, I couldn't find it for them because the project file was long gone. Started adding track names and timestamps these past 6 months.

I've been bingeing your Platinum Journey videos over the past week and they're inspiring. I've been tempted to go for Plats I didn't think I'd have the skill to pull off (like this one, DS2, etc). I've always been crap at the 'tank control' RE games. Would you recommend doing this one in the order you went in? First blind playthrough with Chris knife only seems daunting. Lol

I would not recommend doing the first playthough knife only. I'd say just play the game normally first on normal or easy to get a feel for things. If I can get the platinum in it, anyone can :)
You only fight the tyrant a second time if you save Rebeca or barry. Tip Barry's magnum can kill the tyrant in the lab in one shot. But you must let Barry die. Also there are way more endings depending on when you let people die. Example Barry and Rebeca can die on the helipad giving you a different ending. You can choose to give Barry's gun back and still have Lisa kill him I don't think you get the gun though. Ect..

I always love this kinda channels that makes like "documentary" stories about their accomplishments, instead of videos showing "how to get platinum"
I mean yeah we gotta have guides and stuff, but that only serves for the player who is completing, but the one who is showing how he did it is a lot more awesome

Another excellent episode! I would have thrown in the towel for at least a week after not meeting the criteria for the 'Knife Only' trophy, so I admire your positive mindset. That note from the dev team was very endearing - I wish more developers would do the same. Looking forward to the next episode :)
