- What's shaking, folks! I'm back with another Alphaville reaction from their 1989 album The Breathtaking Blue, and wow, this is an instant favorite. Indeed, I won't say too much more beforehand, so join me as we listen to the excellent "The Mysteries of Love." Cheers!
Also I run a Patreon now, and I'm increasingly doing some extra content of different types over there, so anyone interested in supporting what we do on this channel through donation and getting access to reactions blocked on UA-cam, behind-the-scenes videos, video-reactions, and blooper-reels from my videos can go here. / shnootz

The music video is just a true lesson of cinematography, framing, lights and editing. A masterpiece ! Bravo ! Alex Proyas !!!
Alphaville journey with Matt is again soooo good. Lets keep it going. Thanks buddy!!!!
Thanks Matt for reminding me how great this album really is.
The Director of video was Alex Proyas (he made the movie: The Crow)
Oh wow! Obviously a cult-classic, that film. Cheers for the info!
Really appreciate your continued Alphaville journey! This is yet another song that really shows how much more they have to offer than just their big hits from "Forever Young". Great energy, vocals and epicness in this one!
Masterpiece. Period.
Simple as that, it really is. What a tune!
Forgot to write I love video for this track on Songliness.
Hello Matt, this is one of those Alphaville songs where Gold's voice escapes him, his vocal range of about 4 and a half octaves is too much, and his interpretation is incredible, along with Patti Calore, who, curiously, never again he sang on an Alphaville album. Gabi Becker, Marian's ex-wife, is the one who usually sang all the female second voices in Alphaville. Greetings from Chile.
Cheers, appreciate that clarification. And that's interesting, Gold sounded good to me on this one but I freely concede I don't always pick up on the subtleties of vocal-performance.
In my opinion very unrated song with reach sound.
You don't know how much I enjoy your appreciation of their songs.
The singer's name is Patty Galore.
Are you ready to wild rock and roll to the next song "Ariana"?
Yes, absolutely! Let's goooo, I'm very happy there are people here for the Alphaville reactions, and I'm just loving their music.
@@mattsnider2667 I have been doing this since 1984 and I just attended a concert of their album of songs revisited in a symphonic key, accompanied live with orchestra, that in the future, when you have exhausted the large amount of material that you still have to examine, may be the object of your attention. .
