I'm curious as to why anyone wouldn't want to visit Israel. I've always wanted to go. From what I've seen, it's a beautiful country. I can't wait to visit.
Haha! Yes, they're deliriously happy to live as third class citizens with no rights under Israeli occupation. They enjoy queuing for hours to get through the cage checkpoints, and they look forward to the night raids, when IDF soldiers break down their door at 5am in the morning. They're over the moon about the fact that they aren't allowed to travel, and that the roads they're allowed to use are so clearly designated. But most of all the love being bombed by the Israeli Defense Forces, and burying their dead children.

No, I am actually extremely well-informed on the history of Israel (I could - and in fact I may - write a book on the subject). After touring Israel for two weeks in July, I love Israel more than ever! I would love to live there; maybe Netanya. But Jerusalem coffee shops have the best slushie coffees! And the people were so nice and helpful when I got lost in Jerusalem. 💗🇮🇱💗
Palestine is a translation of "Philistine." The Philistines are extinct. Those who call themselves Palestinians are actually Arabs, for the most part, with some Jordanians in the non-philistine mix. Jerusalem in not mentioned in the Koran.
How crazy about the customs! Puts it into perspective on how 'off the beaten track' it is as a destination for travellers, particularly Western travellers. I'd love to make it there one day! Great vlog as always xx All the love in the world, Soph
This is absolutely interesting, thanks. Unfortunately the subtitles show "Palestine" each time you say "Israel" - I think someone made this up by purpose, but it's really ridiculous.
@Lejla Mrkalj That's wrong. There was once a british mandate called "Palestine" after world war I, but today it's Jordan and Israel. A country named "Palestine" has never existed in history. If you are talking about the Autonomous Palestinian territories: They're located in a part of the Westbank and Tel Aviv is definitely not there.
You are very funny, this is the land of Palestine and you will prefer the land of Palestine while you are the occupiers, and surely one day Israel will disappear (which does not exist in the first place)

How amazing that you two got to visit! It really looks BEAUTIFUL there. I am always happy to see vlogs from places people dont travel to all the time. So nice to see people living their daily lives :).
Israel is definitely not one of the countries that people don't travel to all the time lol there are PLENTY of tourists all over Israel all the freaking time, at every goddamn season. I used to work at a cafe in Jerusalem and the place was always completely full and about 90% of the costumers were tourists from all around the world. In terms of tourism, Israel is very popular.
That's the first vlog ever I have seen from Israel and it really look inviting, clean and beautiful. And such a rich history :) Put it on my bucket list already :)

Yes because Israel is a modern state based upon principles of social justice, freedom of religion, freddom of assembly, and the right of every human for fair trial.
"See now how racist are you?" I said nothing racist, nothing of the sort. You, however, called Jews "rubbish collected from all over the world" along with liars and killers. I see what's going on here, you have a misunderstanding that I'd like to clear up. Modern day Palestinians are Arab people, whose ancestors actually originate mostly from Jordan, Egypt and Syria. The people that are mentioned in the Bible are the Philistines, NOT the Palestinians. There's a big difference between the two. The Philistines were a sea people that came to Canaan via the sea, from the Greek isles. They were basically Greek pirates that came and settled on the West shore of Canaan. Eventually the Philistines went extinct as a people. 1. Modern day Palestinians are not the Biblical Philistines because the Biblical Philistines went extinct as a people. 2. Modern Day Palestinians are Arab, the Biblical Philistines were GREEK. Not Arab!
YRstacker IL Yeah, I mean, I wanna leave because it's financially difficult to live here and I want a different vibe. Safety isn't a concern at all, I've always felt safe here, despite us being right next to some pretty terribly dangerous places.
DonD512 Well yeah, the PA doesn't do a great job of keeping people safe they're. They're pretty weak and corrupt. I'm sorry for the people under its rule... It's not really democratic.
The hummus shop is called "Abu Hassan," as an Israeli I can tell you that you have reached the right place - this is one of the most famous hummus shops in Israel.
interesting. I know this is a little bit off topic-> Palestine? I see a lot of comments saying that this is "Palestine". I see Israeli flags. Also, Palestinians of today aren't the biblical philistines (?). But the thing is the ones that DO survive are the descendants of Ishmael --> Which is troublesome.
I live right there, next to Rothschild. It's so nice you guys get to see how huge the gap is between what israel is all about, and how much hate there is against us out there.. traveling the world and hearing people calling us apartheid while knowing it to be one of the most open and democratic societies is mind boggling.
Matan Omer Yeah, it doesn’t make a heck of a lot of sense. I suspect it may be (in part) because the likes of Soros and lashon hara rules don’t mix. Also, select derogatory statements in old writings, but at least they were from another time and most rational people know they are deprecated. It seems some really take the smallest or most antiquated, historical things to justify hatred today. Both sad and strange Much more despicable areas of the world are somehow lauded these days. Scary times.
Matan Omer I am an Indian and i love Israel. One day i really want to visit Israel. Recently Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Israel for bilateral ties. You guys are amazing. Lots of love from India.
Matan Omer Every single person that call Israel Apartheid state is an ignorant. Please, be proud of your heavely lovely and free country. I got in love with your land and had visited 3 times already in just one year! I can not wait to visit Israel again. And by the way, you live near Rothschild BLV. Lucky, lucky you. Enjoy your wonderful city. Cheers from Munich.
Yes israel is a modern state which respects the rights of every human for fair trial, equality in front of the law and political pluralism. Israel is not ruled by dictatorship but by accountable leaders who govern only according to the results of election to the Knesset, Israel's vibrant parliament
תודה רבה שביקרתם!

Not Arab!
YRstacker IL it's only dangerous if you are a minority Palestinian then you might get killed for no reason

Yeah, I mean, I wanna leave because it's financially difficult to live here and I want a different vibe.
Safety isn't a concern at all, I've always felt safe here, despite us being right next to some pretty terribly dangerous places.

Well yeah, the PA doesn't do a great job of keeping people safe they're. They're pretty weak and corrupt. I'm sorry for the people under its rule... It's not really democratic.
rinrin this is the most amazing comment I've seen in a long time. Preach
I just love Tel Aviv!
We honestly didn't know what to expect here, besides being suuuper duper expensive, the place is beautiful!
Jews just really have an affinity for money.. Once u get used to it, it's easier to live here.
All of Israel is amazing place, I recommend you to visit there, there is much to see
The hummus shop is called "Abu Hassan," as an Israeli I can tell you that you have reached the right place - this is one of the most famous hummus shops in Israel.

Palestine*
interesting.
Both sad and strange
Much more despicable areas of the world are somehow lauded these days.
"democratic"
