What I tend to find with german equipment is even though they are very efficient and modern, once something goes wrong with them the parts are pretty expensive but I do find alot of enjoyment replacing parts and maintaining them.
The next question is how do you handle the wrapped bale so that you do not tear the bag. Will the film stick to bale handling equipment and to other wrapped bales? Very neat idea though. I imagine the cost is quite high.

Edward Mack you use a wheel loader or tractor with a grapple that has soft rubber fingers/soft rubber covering the steel. It's like a crab claw
