I love the way you are raising the chickens. I give mine hot cereal in the morning or malto meal. I believe it's a good source of protein and the chickens love the warm food when it's cold. When I go to collect eggs, it's like a rainbow factory they're all different colors. I love it and them. People say chickens are stupid but they're really actually kind of smart. If people would treat animals the way they would want to be treated you would see that they lay a lot more eggs. Loved chickens are better egg layers in better meat birds(which i hate to think or say that) in the future when they were old and grown.
