I feel like I've learned everything and nothing about this movie after seeing the trailer.
This trailer does suck
Never heard of it before and after this trailer I know even less.
This stupid trailer gave me a headache
Yeah,it look as confusing and enigmatic.I have a feeling the trailer is purposely masking a complete crappy movie.
Glenn, best comment for a movie trailer.
It's amazing that the Maunsell forts are still standing .
They sell tours to them.
@@Crashed131963 and Royal Titles...
IT IS NOT AMAZING !!!!!! IT'S WHITE MAN'S TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kind of hard not to think of those with this flik. I always thought there had to be a movie to be made with those.
It was way back when, oh I don't know, maybe in your grandfathers day when things were built to use more than once, so they lasted.
Beware the ball.. evil is always a ball (with some wires). It's a Ball ! run!
In the distant future they will fire massive artillery pieces with no earplugs because of magic!
Bwahahaaha you noticed that too!
maybe the only company left making earplugs is 3M......... haha
@@joedoe6444 Did they beat their lawsuit???
@@aksantom no, they lost it and have to pay millions in damages, but like all big corporations I'm sure they will keep filing appeals until all the effected people are dead and all the lawyers involved have enjoyed their retirement in their new beach houses.
Arterium silencium!
Looks like a really good 'wait till it streams' movie!
That's always my strategy unless the director's last name is Nolan or Tarentino and then I buy the ticket. No popcorn though...
The fact the WWII Maunsell sea forts are in this movie is astonishing.
Could Europe, then, be one of the continents involved? An Easter egg perhaps?
I am fascinated with the Maunsell Forts, Glad to see them Used!
The Principality of Sealand's bustling film industry has long been underestimated
Whitstable is my hometown so i totally agree. Great to see how they possibly did look/could look in the future on the big screen :)
Obvious lack of resources.
Cool, it's one of those trailers that reveals the whole movie.
I haven’t seen a good movie of this type in so long.
I just really hope it’s worth the price of admission.
@@JohnH779 most disappointed movie.
Dont try this. You'll regret it. Lol
Watch Sunshine, same plot, different theme, better movie.
So this is what happens off the coast of Kent....!
The trailer is the best part of this movie. If somebody, like me, wants to download and watch this movie, leave it there. The movie is a low budget attempt at the story and suspense, but fails to impress.
Bello e intrigante , grazie mille ❤️
This is an example of making an exciting thriller with a clearly small budget. Show everything with nothing all at once.
This looks like it could be freaking cool..
Looks like my kind of movie. 👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing. 👍
This look like it could be interesting !
At least it's not another comic book movie
Here for the Maunsell Forts!
Beyond 30... they should make a movie about it. Dividing line between east and west hemisphere. No crossings, no communication, until one day a stranded warship crosses it and sees what happened to the other side of the world in the 100 year since the war.
Burroughs. A largely unknown gem.
@@directeducation2890 is it a book or movie. Or concept?
@@LeEmperor A short novel written in 1915, good story from Edgar Rice Burroughs, creator of Tarzan and other marvellous worlds.
Yeah Nah not east and west, north and south, then the majority of the world and its crazy can stay away. All those northies are batshit crazy.
Please no, nothing good would come out of it.
I recognise those forts. They don't need that 'Device', just a swift kick to the keel of the SS Montgomery should do the trick... KABOOM!!!
Well, that trailer didn't leave me enthused.
Fool! That is exactly they want you to not feel!
"Doesn`t make much sense when you think about it." Yeah, pretty much sums it up.
This is absolutely incredible
Ohh looks great, wanna watch this 😮
Vertical always brings heat to the silver screen
Kretschmann... the big Man, great actor
It’s definitely a movie
Yep, I am hooked! Looks already thrilling!
Oh the lies you tell
@@lionintu Hä?? I don't get this.
Looking astonishing, want to see it. Keep in touch! Thanks for share!
Awesome. Reminds me of a more coherent version of outpost 11.
looks like somebody finally made commercial use of the old maunsell sea forts.
Long time ago there was an episode of "Danger Man" set on one of the forts, purportedly an outlaw radio station, its actual purpose was much more nefarious.
Love the trailer music. As if you knew someone would ask. Thanks for the info.
Best
👍👍👍👍👍
It's year 2063 and they're using an old time cannon ???
They are at the end, easy and cheap to produce, as well as supply with ammo, where as energy weapons of what ever type are not, neither building nor powering them is cheap or easy.
In the current war in Ukraine, some of the weapons being used are of designs dating back 40, 50 years or more, they just don't make the headlines. And in the 2nd world war, the Lewis gun was still being used, a design from the Great War, + many big guns, and warships which were very much older designs (certainly at the start of WW2), and look at aircraft such as the Fairy Albacore and Albatross, biplanes which were years "out of date" at the start of WW2, yet they were still in use. In particular it was Albatrosses which were used to attack & cripple the Bismark. It costs money, time and other resources (like skilled people to design, develope and test anything new). Resources which are often better employed in more urgent things during a war. And believe me, if something is tried, tested, and proven to be reliable AND effective, it WILL be used.
Also, look at the Kalashnikov AK47, it's so old a design that many people of fighting age were not even born when that design was first put into use, and yet there are 1000's of them still in use in present times. It also depends on available ammunition. For example, a standard NATO 7.62mm round will not travel any further or faster, or with more effect, if you put it into an ultra modern up to date rifle, than if you put it into a much older design from (say) the 1950's. The ammunition is just as important as whatever fires it. The only thing which a more modern weapon is likely to offer (in general) is improved accuracy, faster rate of fire, improved reliability (which takes time, and many different circumstances and environments to prove), and lighter weight and/or smaller size (making it easier to carry). It is the ammunition (+ the charge if separate) which determines the force of each shot, not the weapon its-self.
And look at the rail gun. Yes it might well be an impressive piece of kit, with a devastating "firepower", but it takes SO much power to operate that it can only be used at a land based static position which has a very high power electricity generating source to hand, or a large ship which is capable of carrying such a high powered generating set up. You certainly can't fit it into an AFV, let alone make it useable for foot soldiers to carry around.
@@Varick76551 Low budget movie for sure. That artillery gun would be useless against aircraft. A modern fortification would have missiles which would be effective against surface ships & aircraft.
Not going to watch this movie as I am pretty sure its going to be bad.
Is that going into theaters or will it be streamed on-line? Looks REALLY good!
Release date: March 24, 2023
@@RebelScum312 When will it be released in France please?
What's a theater?
@@glennwatson3313 A place where you can't pause the movie when you have to get up and piss.
@@stab74 A place that smells of feet, ass and popcorn.
Looks pretty good
i cant wait for it to be free on a cable premium channel
Big wave, big bomb. Got it.
Some version of " dead man's switch"? Not bad looking so far!
As long as they launch and take out both sides it will be great.
Yes gotta see it
I'd like to see a movie based on the "urban legend" of the Ourang Medan. If done right it would be pretty cool. I'll give this film a look see.
Elaborate plrase
So very close to being an adaptation of Alastair Reynold's story, "Sleepover". That'd scratch a lot of itches.
ничего не понятно, но очень интересно (с) =)
Extra point for loud noises standing in for real tension.
Smells like straight to video to me, very cryptic!
What’s video anymore?
@@melissateague3936 Haven't been to a theater in a while I see 🙂
Interesting that the old British Forts are still in action...
Filming took place in Tallinn in the fall of 2021.
The idea is taken from British Forts, but really was filmed in Tallinn, havn't seen it but going to see for sure.
The trailer gave away the entire story. I've seen this before, but usually with Hollywood movies. At least it helps one determine whether it is worth it to watch!
watch a minute and decide if you are interested.. i never watch full trailers beacuse they spoil the whole dam movie.
'Texas towers' revisited
Very good movie.
I just wanna see the storm hit !! Idc about the rest
Reminds me of my honeymoon.
Now this is how you do a trailer! not giving away the chicken before it lays an egg
oh boy
Fort Maunsell.
"The Rig", the movie.
In movies March 24th. You're welcome.
Thomas Kretschmann finally showing some age, after 30 years of being basically unaffected by the passage of time...
could have been almost the german sean connery. But nice to see him again
@@Helghastdude , I think Mr. Kretschmann is easily more handsome than Sean Connery. Especially if you compare them in their prime (Kretschmann in King Kong and Connery in Goldfinger).
Who knows, had he not been born in the GDR, maybe he would have been a much more successful actor.
@@george-florinconstantin4141 i don´t care about their looks, but both are great actors IMO. But yes, Kretschmann deserved better!
So - "The Abyss", but without the undersea aliens?
Or, the underwater.

when a trailer tells you all the story.....
I am not quite sure, what is the "device" for instance?
💕💕🥰🥰💗💗
What about a shorter trailer and maybe a little hint what it is all really about?
Is this movie streaming? if so which?
Just Detonate the damn thing. Call it a day.
The trailer makes it seem as though the movie has a plot with a story. Its watchable with good weed, coca cola and cookies.
👍
now thats how you make a trailer, leave you thinking wtf is this about? made me interested
Those Mk6 helmets have lasted well, given that its forty years from now (2023)
😳
Fegelein!!!
Cool I dont have to watch it now that the trailers revealed the entire plot and probably all the best scenes.
Yeah I'm sick of it.
Every trailer these days....
I'll just wait until the movie recap UA-camr does a video on it
Is this an apocalypse movie of a war in the future?

Ok, thanks, don't need to see it now after watching all these spoilers.
cienki trailer, wygląda na to że będzie kolejna lipa
Not sure what this movies about but i think ill watch it and see.
The device of doom
I just finished watching it in Estonian cinema. I found it to very well written and quite interesting story. But it is a drama and thriller first most and it can be a slow burn for some. Trailer is kind of a meh, like a peak of a iceberg. Once you watch it, you can feel the depth of that iceberg.
Found it to be*
Hail Hydra
Long Live The Kraken
Is this another super woman beats all the bad men film? 'Cause I got that vide from the trailer.
