Beautiful flight, my friend...I'm glad that you are having fun with your Cougar. The Cougar F9F-8 is one of my favorite planes in my hangar. One more little advice my friend, keep idle power all the way until touch down. Resist the tendency of cutting power once you are close to the ground to avoid a sudden stall at landing... once you touch down, then you know what to do next... I had committed that mistake many times, it is a natural reaction for all of us to cut power once you are close to the ground, but this jet doesn't like it... if possible, make a longer approach and control your decent with throttle on a nice high alpha attitude. You'll love the results...

The take offs seemed to display a lot of thrust on this plane. The angle appeared steeper than most.
