- Fk here is the maiden of the all new Freewing 70mm F-16 Arctic Camo V3! The V3 of this Freewing F-16 in the arctic camo 70mm has many new upgraded features from earlier r version of Freewing F-16s. The 2 main upgrades are full floating stabs and reverse thrust. This was a very successful maiden despite me overshooting the runway on the maiden landing!....lol

Nice flying. Looks like a new design on the nose, I like it. Now I can put it on its nose like Eflite/FMS versions. Going to have to order one.
Order an extra nose while you at it. I have one for display and one for flight.

lol I was trying to calm my nerves at a maiden.
Which one would you recommend, the eflite 70 or this one? Since this has full stabs and reverse but it’s camouflaged quite good🙈
This one, having had the Eflite one , this one flies better.
Awesome jet! I would advice you to put the thrust reverse on the bind button with a mix to go to 100% right away instead of flip the switch and then throttle up
But isn't that hard on the esc?
@@FatGuyFliesRC i have no troubles with that on my plane, i am using the function almost the day i had it... i had to figure out the mix setup but after that it makes a huge difference in the time it takes to stop. So your throttle al the way down and then hit the bind button and the jet or plane stops.
There will also be no in air problems if you would excidently hit the wrong butting because it will just be activated if you push it.
Really enjoy your videos. Could you do a video on transitioning from warbirds to jets? How much do you use your rudder in turns and other differences. Just getting into jets.

Hi.... how did you find your settings for the elevator ? where they touchy at 80% throw ? because 80% seems a lot or the elevator bearing in mind that this is the full flying stabs. I thiink you said that 80% was fior the low rates ?
I dialed in the elevator to 60% and that is plenty.
Can you split the ailerons on this, or does the blue box limit that? I’m assuming it comes out of the blue box on one channel
You can by pass the blue box to do that otherwise the blue box does not allow.
On the clear coat , just use regular spray?

Reverse thrust might have saved the nose popping off

What is the antenna mod?
I must not have done it yet. It is where you put a small hole in the rear part of the battery hatch and then feed a black zip tie up through the hole AFTER running the zip tie through itself and then dapping a spot of glue from the inside and then cutting it off about an inch at the top. It looks like an antenna but instead it is a functional thing to grab to pick up the battery hatch instead of ugly tape.

I dig the vibe. I'm an older fat guy that got a Freewing F-22 90mm. What would you recommend for long range control of this beautiful bird?
I use the Spektrum ar67t with dual antenna. Or You can use the 7 channel Lemon rx gen 2 rx. Both are great reliable receivers.

Looking again,might just been the angle. Also notice Freewing doesnt have as much forward angle as the Eflite,so might have made it look more too...@@FatGuyFliesRC
