We found Parma much more touristy, however we did not do a long-stay there, so it was a day-trip, first impression.

New subscriber! What a wonderful channel! Can you please recommended hotels or apartments to stay in Modena. I’m planning to take my 65yo mum there for two weeks. I’m on a budget and find it quite a challenge to find a decent place to stay. Your recommendations are much appreciated ❤

Thank you so much for subscribing and watching! How lucky to visit Modena! Maybe try for an apartment just outside the old city walls where there are residential neighborhoods in walking distance. Most places list on all the long-stay engines like booking dot com, airbnb, vrbo etc. Have a super trip!

Thank you for watching! The day we went to Parma it was over-run with tourists so we ducked out after only a couple hours. Let us know what you think if you go!

Hmm. We are looking at Parma or Modena as our base. Bologna is just too busy and has too many tourists. Also thinking about Ferrara, but it complicates things with the train because it will often require us to change trains in Bologna. After watching your video, I am leaning towards Modena. Do you have any suggestions?

Ferrari o Maserati? I modenesi fanno i "fighetti" ma qua andiamo ancora col trattore. 🙂
Pavarotti o Maneskin? Ma i Maneskin certamente... però NON sono di Modena

I wonder if the thing he can't say is something racist. I like Italy, but the racism I faced there made me promise myself to never return to Italy. Moderna is amazing city.
