Hi sir , i want to build my drone i have sp racing f3 evo v2 and receiver fs-a8s and remote fs-i6 and motors i solding the board with motors and receiver ,what i should do next ??
Hello: Have a question for you that you may help me with???? I'm new to fpv and my wife surprised me with a Eachine Wizard X220 FPV Racer Blheli_S F3 6DOF 5.8G 48CH 200MW 700TVL Camera w/ FlySky I6 RTF and of course there are no instructions that came with it and I have no idea how all this is supposed to work. I have a dji flame wheel. The flysky FS-i6 is missing so I need to program another one which I bought with the FS-i6 flysky reciever and bind it. How do I know if it's clean flight or Betaflight? What else do I need to know to get it to fly.
Thanks for your video!! It helped me finally get my modes setup for my Furibee Fuuton 200. I'm stuck with a Eachine branded i6 transmitter, and I can't set the buzzer up. None of the other aux switches work. Plus is there a way to backup or save models if the transmitter get destroy or damaged.
RCFlyer85 Flysky FS-A8S.I just ordered 2 ixb receiver ..the buzzer works when I shut the transmitter off, but I want on on the transmitter. I setup Arm on switch A, switch C is Angle, Hozion & Acro.. No Airmode made my motors spin up too much. If I update the firmware on the transmitter will I lost my previous model's ? Plus having to use sliding the tabs to get into setting will that be gone too.?
George Grazette I can't remember what all gets erased when you mod your controller since I did it so long ago so it's best to assume that it will erase everything. I personally don't know how it goes on the Eachine model though if you flash the official mod it should get rid of the need to slide the tabs. with your current set up if you're not using 3 flight modes you can set arming and two flight modes on the 3 position switch and that would leave another switch or Knob open for your buzzer or whatever else
i have an F3 flight controller, this one: eu.banggood.com/Wholesale-Warehouse-Upgrade-NAZE32-F3-Flight-Controller-Acro-6-DOF-Deluxe-10-DOF-for-Multirotor-Racing-wp-Eu-1010232.html?rmmds=myorder can i just plug it in or something? i'm building my first drone now so i'm kinda new :) Thanks for your reply!
Thanks for all your time in posting this. I see you binded to your custom built drone. Can I bind to a Bugs 3 and Bugs 4, or any pre packaged drone ?? How’s that done ?
Most premade drones have their own proprietary software so in general no you can't. There are modules to emulate "some" of those signals for other transmitters but I've never used any so I couldn't help you much there.
RCFlyer85 thanks for the reply. I’ve seen some other videos where people have bound to pre made drones, so I just assumed it was easy to do. It also explains why those drones already come with their own controller. So...., maybe they can be modded, just not usually done. Thanks again.
jim thumm No PID videos here but there's plenty here on UA-cam... I've watched plenty and still don't fully understand what to do lol... Good Luck and Happy Flying!
Hey, I can't find not one video on UA-cam about how to connect a FS-ia6b reveiver to a kiss flight controller. This is my first build. Thank you so much. It would be even better if u could do a vid on how to do that.;)
Droneva Bass because it's pretty much won't work.... KISS doesn't support iBus unless you flash it to BetaFlight. There are a few other ways depending on your particular set up but not using the ia6b
Droneva You could... --- Without flashing to BetaFlight Run PPM (if that board supports it) Get an i6x or Turnigy Evolution TX which supports SBUS output and a compatible RX like the ia6c or X6B --- With flashing to BetaFlight use what you have (ia6b) in iBus mode
Did everything as per the video. I still cant change the values with the transmitter, i.e, in betaflight, the values do not change. p.s: the receiver port on the FC is ppm/sbus, i connected my receiver (the same one that u use) into that. pls help
Please help me, I have the exact same receiver and transmitter as you do, but I am using a SPracing F3 Flight controller, I have binded my receiver with the transmitter, I have followed all the steps and I have selected the right configuration settings. However, once I'm at the channel mapping, the throttle on betaflight doesn't move when I move the throttle on the controller
Thx bro! There has to be one more problem with my setup: In betaflight all the signals from the radio do what they should, so that's fine. If I go to "motors" i can spin the motors, also fine. But when i desconnect my drone from the computer, restart the drone and the controller, i arm it and i set a flightmode, nothing happens. I can only see that the flightcontroller responds to my radio. Can somebody help me out?
Bayfen Bursa you have to be more specific than just flight settings what exactly are you trying to set up? Do you have the receiver bound and working correctly?
can you recommend a good beginner RC helicopter radio....something not too expensive or difficult to bind....I am looking to get a radio that will bind with the Blade or WL toys BNF model helis.....thanks
Gary Vale The only way your going to be able to control multiple brands and protocols is getting something like a Devo10 and highly modding it. You'll have to do a lot of research on different protocols and how they interact with each other
thank you ...as you are the only one who explained about the different protocols.....I will see which brand heli uses what protocol and go from there....2 different radio manufacturers might be best for me .....can you tell me what are the most common protocols used for the popular BNF helis ...thanks again...
thanks ...I will begin to search out these brands...is there any simple way to know what protocol the various BNF type helis use ...such as Walkera or Blade or WLtoys.....that would help me select a radio ....
Gary Vale Well Walkera uses their own proprietary stuff. Blade uses Spektrum dsm technology and I can't remember WLToys one but you can't really expect to fly hobby grade stuff and "toys" with the same transmitter. Basically at this moment in time your safest bet is to get a FrSky transmitter like the Taranis Qx7.... If you plan to buy specifically Blade products then your going to want a Spectrum Transmitter that's capable of DSM, DSM2 and DSMx
Sorry so late appearantly UA-cam hasn't been giving me notifications for a while and I just noticed... Depends on how many channels you need but most likely the ia6b or ia10b would be best for you
I just bought the ia6 transmitter +ia6b receiver for 38 euros at bnggd. I think the telemetry of the ai6b can be important in time. I don't need 10 channels.
RCFlyer85: Nice Video and Thanks. Question on an aspects of FailSafe setup. This was not covered, but perhaps you have experience with also the Failsafe mode. In BetaFlite has two options, 1: fall out of sky, 2: Land In RX (IA6B) Failsafe setup, all six channel can be programed. So if I set say RX channel 3, Throttle in RX to lowest point (Throttle off) on the failsafe setup of RX screen. Suggests to me the Quad will just fall out of Sky. On the other hand, in Betaflite if it is set to land. Which is the Master, I.E. does the quad react to the RX or Flight Controller? Which is superior? Seems it might be the FC but not sure? Thanks BobFlyer
Yeah I'm not sure which one is superior but I set both. Channel 3 to 0% and set it to drop if BF... If you really wanted to know you could just test it
Thanks for the video it helped me to setup the ibus tx/rx. The receiver shows the inputs from the transmitter (in cleanflight) but after I disconnect the fly controller from the computer the receiver does not react to the transmitter inputs, any idea of the issue?
After testing it in cleanflight where the receiver show the interaction with the transmitter (working). I disconnect the usb and battery. I reconnect the battery, the drone power up and does a series of beeping, the receiver red light is solid (showing that is bound with the receiver), but when I switched to arm, move the throttle it does not do anything
I know this is an old video, but when i get to the receiver tab in betaflight, my sticks are at (A)1537, (E)1527, (R)1504 and my all sticks only go down to 1030-1060... Should i just trim them?
Ohhh... yeah the T6 is a whole different thing and I don't have any information on that TX. I do know that it uses the old AFHDS protocol and not the newer AFHDS 2A of most newer receivers. So if you have issues that is probably why
Thanks RCFlyer85: I have a Turnigy I6 from 2015. The Model Name will not show up on the screen after I name the model and save. If I use say Model 06 and call it Drone06 and save, it shows up on the main screen as Turnigy 06. Tried many times and it will not show the name properly. Other than that I have to remember what turnighy xx is, all other features work fine. Any suggestions to fixes? Tnx Bob
Robert Steele Is this in AFHDS ( Not 2A ) mode? It should say right on the front screen either AFHDS2A or AFHDS. If you are not in 2A mode I don't think it saves the names that way but other than that I'm really not sure unless it's just something from the Turnigy firmware that could probably be fixed by updating your transmitter
It is in Mode AFHDS2A Found out it is a Turnigy I6 Bug in Firmware I bought the unit in 2015 and have not updated firmware Since I may brick my tx. Just have to remember the planes quad assignment. Thanks bob
What ever you had done I also could able achieve but when I move my throttle motor is not responding. Any suggestion. Clean flight is responding if I change throttle.
@@vasanthakumarvelkumar3776 Could be any number of things. You'll have to take the time to troubleshoot. If possible try and find someone local to help out
hello! subbed! you are a pinnacle of knowlege. watched 15 vides, FINALLY yours explains it slowly, and understaNDING the concepts. i just got this radio at the thrift store for 2.50 and want to use it my quads. I will order some of the reciever parts that goes to the quads (i got some walkera 250's I want to bypass the Devo 710 and use my F6) I set it up as you instructed. would have never thought of that. thanks man truely, I am learning each day trying not to overspend. I will look for a few cheapie recievers, do they come with the cables to attach? I know i can direct power to a small battery or 4aa, something 4v-6v i immagine, yes>? anyway. tons to learn thanks again.
From what I can tell it may be somewhat possible after heavy modification and programming but I wouldn't waste time with what seems to be a sketchy mod.....
why is it when I try to configure my Eachine i6 remote controller in Libre Pilot, when I check to see if the remote is responding correctly with the on screen controls for throttle, pitch , roll and yaw, they do not move in the right direction on the screen that they should be moving {when I move throttle up the on screen controls show that the throttle being moved downward instead of upward. How can I fix this problem. Thanks
Asus Kybd If you didn't notice this is a racing drone oriented Channel so my videos are completely relevant for my core audience. There was a point in time when I was interested in collective pitch helicopters but then drones got popular and I'm perfectly content just flying drones. Happy Flying!
ShiestyFPV That's just the most common way of doing it and simpler in my opinion but hey if you set it up your way and it works more power to you. I think the logical explanation is that quadcopters actually fly more like planes than they do fix pitch and collective pitch helicopters. But hey there's more than one way to skin a cat
S hey I noticed the model that you're using referring to it as each one I think you did anyway I have one , although I bought mine under the name Goolrc 210. .don't know how to find it on clean flight or even beta, so I was wondering if you could tell me what that model is actually referred to inside those two programs also in regards to setting it up with my latest fly sky i6-s digital, I was wondering how to set the rates, or rather how I would correctly change them to one of the 3 switches? I have tried, but to play around, but though it's bound, I still believe I don't have the switches successfully set for stability mode, etc., I am still wanting to use stable mode as I am using my GoolRc to get more comfortable with Racers as I have already gotten to the point with ref quads where I'm more than familiar,, btw, thanks for the great video, I answered a lot of questions, hopefully you will be willing to pass on your knowledge etc,, also do you know why when I attempt to download clean flight from chrome or even plays tore, it won't give me a download option, but rather download to all my tablets and cell phone? Plus every time I attempt a connection for racer to com laptop Windows 7. It tries to download the drivers, but is always stopped by a fail to update driver message not just on the racer mentioned above, but also my shutdown , assassin, etc..? Any thoughts??thankx again
RCFlyer85 lol,, okay thankx I got it for 82 bucks , rtf so it was actually a pretty decent deal,, I knew it had to be either really old, or just nobody bought it, cuz your the first person I've seen with one ever , and I've been lookin awhile...., but I think it's a perfect lil beginner flyer/racer, just wish I would have started with it rather than with the fast as hell Swift 2 by swell pro,. Which has been about 100 plus feet up in a damn tree and has been for going on about 2-3 months
RCFlyer85 for instance, like what, maybe I can pay the shipping something if it's something that really peaks my interest,, though I do have so it of quads already, aswell as all of the normal everyday crap that comes along with the hobby and I do say crap only in the way of it's just so much my room is just literally covered in quadcopter paraphernalia and quadcopters but that doesn't mean I don't need more cuz there's always something I need LOL but seriously though let me know what kind of things you have been selling okay thank you by the way if you wanted to you can just send me a a link through email or some items through my email account if you'd rather do that my email is k1dodson@yahoo.com
there us no movement on mine too. Its not letting me change uart 1 to serial rx but i was able to change uart 2 to serial rx. I do have it on serial based receiver and ibus.
scottyandthefenders Don't ever change UART1 to anything other than MSP. if you set UART 2 to serialrx and you have no input first make sure that you were actually bound to the receiver 2nd make sure that you actually have the receiver plugged into UART 2 and not UART 3 and lastly make sure on the configurator that you have the receiver type set to serial and set to ibus
Thanks for you help but im still having trouble. there is no UART 3 shown on betaflight so i assume that my reciever is plugged into UART. my reviser type is set to serial and ibus too. Also when i go back to my old tx and reviver which is the em 16 (www.google.com/search?q=jjpro+em-16&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=662&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwiokPK_ibHSAhUp_IMKHd6yDSsQ_AUICSgE&dpr=1) and change my settings back to MSP on UART 2 and PPM Rx input evertything works fine. Also i am using the fs Ia6 plugged into channel one not the IA6B that you used in your video. I am falling in love with the hobby and just want to go fly again haha thanks for your help!
sri vamsi I have no idea about that TX... This is the first I've heard of it. It looks to be very old and most likely doesn't support failsafe. I wouldn't recommend you use that on a drone personally
So I'm curious if you know how to add another aux switch. Currently I have swa and swc programed but I would like to add swb for a buzzer mod, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add another aux switch to program. If you have any knowledge on that, I could use some help.
Cooper Hilton Yes the ia6b will work but only on ppm or iBus. the question is what transmitter do you have if you have the original I6 transmitter it is only capable of handling six channels so for 4 controls and two switches you will need to do the 10 Channel mod if you would like to get control of all of the switches at the same time
Channel mapping still not working
Angela Cervera If there is no movement at all then there is 4 possible reasons for that..
1. You are not bound to the receiver.
2. You have the wrong connection type selected. (example: you have ppm selected when using iBus.... or you have iBus selected when running pwm)
3. Your receiver is plugged into the wrong port on your flight controller
4. You are connected to the right port on the flight controller BUT you have not enabled serial Rx on the correct port in the Ports Tab
Hi RCFlyer85, I have tried all those options and none of them work, could you give some advice regarding #2 on the setting that should work. ie tried randomly multiple configurations with no luck
dale b what receiver do you have?
The same one you're using in the vid. Stock not updated.
dale b ok and how do you have it connected? PWM with all 6 (1 3 wire and 5 1 wire) wires, PPM with 1(3 wire connection ) or iBus with 1 (3 wire connection)?

@Ed Straker Thank you for your assistance.... Hopefully he gets (got) it working
Which Flight controller is used
Thanks for your video!! It helped me finally get my modes setup for my Furibee Fuuton 200. I'm stuck with a Eachine branded i6 transmitter, and I can't set the buzzer up. None of the other aux switches work. Plus is there a way to backup or save models if the transmitter get destroy or damaged.
George Grazette What receiver does it have and what do you have set up so far? Are you using any switches currently?
I personally don't know how it goes on the Eachine model though if you flash the official mod it should get rid of the need to slide the tabs. with your current set up if you're not using 3 flight modes you can set arming and two flight modes on the 3 position switch and that would leave another switch or Knob open for your buzzer or whatever else
great video. does this have DSMX and or DSM2 ? also does it have safe or auto correct for beginner flying ?
Very helpful thanks👍
Your very welcome... Thanks for watching!
can you use the other type of receiver for this?
the stock one it comes with which port?
thanks!!!!
ultra rc Not sure what RX you are talking about but this transmitter works with most FlySky AFHDS 2A receivers like the... A8S, X6B, iA6C, iA6 etc
i got a question, where are the red, black and white cables attached to from the quad copter @ 5:13 ?
Thank you!
Dmun That all depends on your FC.... Everyone is different.
i have an F3 flight controller, this one: eu.banggood.com/Wholesale-Warehouse-Upgrade-NAZE32-F3-Flight-Controller-Acro-6-DOF-Deluxe-10-DOF-for-Multirotor-Racing-wp-Eu-1010232.html?rmmds=myorder
can i just plug it in or something? i'm building my first drone now so i'm kinda new :)
Thanks for your reply!
Thx good info keep it up
Thanks for all your time in posting this.
It really helped me! Thanks a ton
Great vid helped me a lot now that's set do you have any vids on pid settings I'm a newbie so I don't know anything thanks jim
jim thumm No PID videos here but there's plenty here on UA-cam... I've watched plenty and still don't fully understand what to do lol...
Good Luck and Happy Flying!
How would I change the arm from the left stick to the sw a
You do that in Betaflight
Definitely helping me. But Km still lost. Lol Thanks
Thanks for the lighting fast response. What do I do know because I don't have any more money to get a spectrum or taranis x9d?
Droneva You could...
--- Without flashing to BetaFlight
Run PPM (if that board supports it)
Get an i6x or Turnigy Evolution TX which supports SBUS output and a compatible RX like the ia6c or X6B
--- With flashing to BetaFlight use what you have (ia6b) in iBus mode
So could I get the turnigy evolution that comes with a tgy-ia6c receiver and it will work with the kiss flight controller?
Droneva Yes... Check out this video
ua-cam.com/video/_rAjPHKfuTo/v-deo.html
can't get beta flight to connect to my multi. running on a Mac, do I need to install a driver or something?
Did everything as per the video. I still cant change the values with the transmitter, i.e, in betaflight, the values do not change. p.s: the receiver port on the FC is ppm/sbus, i connected my receiver (the same one that u use) into that.
pls help
Please help me,
I have the exact same receiver and transmitter as you do, but I am using a SPracing F3 Flight controller, I have binded my receiver with the transmitter, I have followed all the steps and I have selected the right configuration settings.
However, once I'm at the channel mapping, the throttle on betaflight doesn't move when I move the throttle on the controller
What version of betaflight is in your flight controller?
Thx bro!
There has to be one more problem with my setup:
In betaflight all the signals from the radio do what they should, so that's fine. If I go to "motors" i can spin the motors, also fine. But when i desconnect my drone from the computer, restart the drone and the controller, i arm it and i set a flightmode, nothing happens. I can only see that the flightcontroller responds to my radio. Can somebody help me out?
Hello
Flysky has FS-i6 controller and dron which is flip32 control card.
Can you help with flight settings?
Thank you
Bayfen Bursa you have to be more specific than just flight settings what exactly are you trying to set up?
Gary Vale The most popular out is FrSky, Spektrum and FlySky
thanks ...I will begin to search out these brands...is there any simple way to know what protocol the various BNF type helis use ...such as Walkera or Blade or WLtoys.....that would help me select a radio ....
Can u show programming for a drone
As a beginner, which flysky model would you advise? So many different models of flysky receivers. I'm making wood planes and gliders.
Oh ,ok
so will will this transmitter work with the Rx31d is a DSM2/DSMX compatible 4 channel micro receiver with twin on-board 2A ES
??
Manny Silva No it will not
Very good 👍☢️
Great video, thnx alot man !
RCFlyer85: Nice Video and Thanks.
Question on an aspects of FailSafe setup.
This was not covered, but perhaps you have experience with also the Failsafe mode.
In BetaFlite has two options, 1: fall out of sky, 2: Land
In RX (IA6B) Failsafe setup, all six channel can be programed. So if I set say RX channel 3, Throttle in RX to lowest point (Throttle off) on the failsafe setup of RX screen.
Suggests to me the Quad will just fall out of Sky.
On the other hand, in Betaflite if it is set to
land.
If you really wanted to know you could just test it
What happens if my bar isn't all the way full does that mean am not bond please help
Can i use this transmitter with wakera 250 racer and vortex 285 drones.
jose ramos Yes... It should work with both of those assuming you also add a receiver
I bought the eachine wizard x220 do i need to conect this transmitter to the computer? I have no idea I'm jumping from bugs 3 and 6 to racing
Thanks for the video it helped me to setup the ibus tx/rx. The receiver shows the inputs from the transmitter (in cleanflight) but after I disconnect the fly controller from the computer the receiver does not react to the transmitter inputs, any idea of the issue?
egeovannyam is the receiver powered on... Do you see all the lights on when you disconnect from the PC?
yes it is
egeovannyam by not reacting do you mean that it won't arm or do you know it's not receiving any inputs?
After testing it in cleanflight where the receiver show the interaction with the transmitter (working). I disconnect the usb and battery. I reconnect the battery, the drone power up and does a series of beeping, the receiver red light is solid (showing that is bound with the receiver), but when I switched to arm, move the throttle it does not do anything
egeovannyam In the receiver tab do your sticks move from 1000 - 2000?
I know this is an old video, but when i get to the receiver tab in betaflight, my sticks are at (A)1537, (E)1527, (R)1504 and my all sticks only go down to 1030-1060... Should i just trim them?
I wouldn't... Do it the right way
please help. when i bind the rx battery shows up but it just keeps beeping and does nothing
I need a little help....binding.my flysky...to my zmr250...I did the basic setup
What receiver do you have and what have you tried already?
I have. the sky fly i6
no wait I have the sky fly T6
Ohhh... yeah the T6 is a whole different thing and I don't have any information on that TX. I do know that it uses the old AFHDS protocol and not the newer AFHDS 2A of most newer receivers. So if you have issues that is probably why
ok no sweat. I'll keep trying
Thanks RCFlyer85:
I have a Turnigy I6 from 2015.
The Model Name will not show up on the screen after I name the model and save.
If I use say Model 06 and call it Drone06 and save, it shows up on the main screen as
Turnigy 06.
It is in Mode AFHDS2A
Found out it is a Turnigy I6 Bug in Firmware
I bought the unit in 2015 and have not updated firmware Since I may brick my tx. Just have to remember the planes quad assignment.
Thanks bob
You might have said but does the fs-ia6A work the same way?
abowch zey Somewhat.... Honestly I don't recommend that receiver as it has pretty short range
RCFlyer85 thanks
RCFlyer85 sorry other question is the RC-B the same as this?
What ever you had done I also could able achieve but when I move my throttle motor is not responding. Any suggestion.
Clean flight is responding if I change throttle.
When you move the throttle does the throttle channel move or is it a different channel?
@@RCFlyer85
Yeah I I move throttle throttle bar in clean flight responds according to the movement.
@@vasanthakumarvelkumar3776 Could be any number of things. You'll have to take the time to troubleshoot. If possible try and find someone local to help out
@@RCFlyer85 thank you
hello! subbed! you are a pinnacle of knowlege. watched 15 vides, FINALLY yours explains it slowly, and understaNDING the concepts. i just got this radio at the thrift store for 2.50 and want to use it my quads. I know i can direct power to a small battery or 4aa, something 4v-6v i immagine, yes>? anyway. tons to learn thanks again.
devo project on hold.
Hi got one problem . for some reason my little one pulled out all my cables out of my machine i6 what colors goes where ...
M SBW There is no standard really so I couldn't say.... Honestly it doesn't matter as you can remap them in BetaFlight/Cleanflight
Have you messed with your Raptor 390 lately? You been able to get your LED pinouts to work on that FC?
Hans Yeah my led works just fine... I have an 8 LED board all programmed and working just fine
will this flysky work with a ar 2.0 drone
From what I can tell it may be somewhat possible after heavy modification and programming but I wouldn't waste time with what seems to be a sketchy mod.....
thanks you are amazing
thanks for sharing my friend ✌
thanks for the info sir
Ricky ThePhoton Dexter No problem I try my best to pay it forward to the hobby. Thanks for watching!
with the flysky fs t6 can I use ppm
vape guy 261 yes
Thank you man!
why is it when I try to configure my Eachine i6 remote controller in Libre Pilot, when I check to see if the remote is responding correctly with the on screen controls for throttle, pitch , roll and yaw, they do not move in the right direction on the screen that they should be moving {when I move throttle up the on screen controls show that the throttle being moved downward instead of upward. How can I fix this problem. Thanks
gerald j You need to reverse your channels... You can do this in Libre or in the transmitter itself.
Let's see how GOOD any of you are: What's the difference between "SWASH 90", "SWASH 120" and "SWASH 140" ?
Noooooooo idea lol.... Never flown a regular heli other than a few simple toys
Then you are NOT qualified to make these videos either, LATER!
Asus Kybd If you didn't notice this is a racing drone oriented Channel so my videos are completely relevant for my core audience. There was a point in time when I was interested in collective pitch helicopters but then drones got popular and I'm perfectly content just flying drones. Happy Flying!
quick question why should multi rotors be setup on plane or glider? i set mine up on fixed pitch heli am i doing something wrong?
ShiestyFPV That's just the most common way of doing it and simpler in my opinion but hey if you set it up your way and it works more power to you. I think the logical explanation is that quadcopters actually fly more like planes than they do fix pitch and collective pitch helicopters. But hey there's more than one way to skin a cat
where to do it under number 4
K.D.R.C Kevin D. The GoolRC is pretty old so you'll most likely need older versions of BetaFlight/CleanFlight
K.D.R.C Kevin D. Lol.... To bad your not close to me. I've been selling a lot of my stuff lately for really cheap.
RCFlyer85 btw, im in st louis mo
i had successfully bind a8s with fs i6 on my eachine ex110 but quad not responding, its my first racer, please guide.
Fish and Aquarium Lover you'll have to set that up in betaflight or cleanflight whichever one you're using and try using S Bus or I bus
there us no movement on mine too.
Great video, very helpful
I’m a little confused. I followed Another build tutorial and he didn’t do this. I don’t have power for the receiver to bind it. How do I power it?
You'll need to either have an external 5v source or hook it up to the drone and plug the battery in
Props off for safety!
We don't need laptop for uploading software?
Modern Tech Yes you will need laptop after the steps in this video
how do i use fs-ct6b with naze32 rev5 cleanflight
sri vamsi I have no idea about that TX... This is the first I've heard of it. It looks to be very old and most likely doesn't support failsafe. I wouldn't recommend you use that on a drone personally
sri vamsi What ESC's?
So I'm curious if you know how to add another aux switch. Currently I have swa and swc programed but I would like to add swb for a buzzer mod, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add another aux switch to program. If you have any knowledge on that, I could use some help.
Cooper Hilton You have to make sure you have the correct receiver and you'll need to do the 10channel mod to enable more channels on a stock FS i6
Oh goodness. So the Flysky 2.4G 6CH FS-iA6B Receiver wont work with this?
Cooper Hilton Yes the ia6b will work but only on ppm or iBus. the question is what transmitter do you have if you have the original I6 transmitter it is only capable of handling six channels so for 4 controls and two switches you will need to do the 10 Channel mod if you would like to get control of all of the switches at the same time
Yeah I believe I have the original. Its the FlySky FS-i6 2.4G 6CH AFHDS. Looks like I'm going to attempt the 10 channel mod.
