You're videos have been so helpful! Tha KS for your contribution to the music world for us newbies and beyond. I'm picking along with you down here in southern Indiana near Columbus. Had no idea you were so close to me. Lol.
You articulate very well. Lots of clear, easy to understand instruction as well as explanations. What you taught today I’ve done for years but never tried putting it into words. Thank you!
Hi Kevin! I’m catching your videos here in western Canada 🍁 I got my first ukulele 3 months ago- I now have a concert ukulele, a super tenor with a low g, and a banjolele on the way!🤣Yes, I have been afflicted with UAS (ukulele acquisition syndrome)- even my husband is starting to play. I love your videos and appreciate all your great tips and tutorials- thank you so much!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make these extremely helpful videos. You're an amazing, patient teacher! Your content is easy to understand and all we ned to do is practice, practice and practice some more. Thanks, again Kevin!
Great lesson, finger picking is so meditative Kevin, I owe my progress to you. I'm in my third year of practice with you of course. But now things are clicking, a light bulb goes off when I finally get a concept. Love the Uke and love your teaching method. Thank You!
Great video Kevin. I started learning Ukulele just over 2 weeks ago, your content is always clear, concise & informative, this video is no exception. You've gained a sunbscriber. Keep up the great work
Hi Kevin, You asked several times what we'd like to see, I got a Friend friend starting ukulele with me, I've been playing about 6 months she's been playing a month, we would like to try some Duets but I don't really have an idea how to go about it other than strumming and some picking ? There is nothing on line that even trys to explain it . Would you think about a series of just showing us how to break simple tunes into duets. thank you
Hi Kevin, LOVE to fingerpick. I feel it helps me slow down and adds so much nuance to songs. People don’t realize you’re still only playing 3-4 chords. Sounds more intricate. Currently playing an old Tom Waite tune called The Last Thing on my Mind…beautiful song.
Great state of Texas! Just now working on some finger style on Sound of Silence and Can’t Help Falling in love with You. Thanks for this tips, especially, picking hand posture.
Apologies if the question was asked somewhere before. Can a left handed person master fingerpicking with their right hand? I am left handed and started learning ukulele without any adjustments. Help please!
Hi Sylvie - this one is a Kala Elite Series Tenor made from Koa wood. Absolutely beautiful sounding instrument I was lucky enough to receive from Kala. I have quite a few of their ukuleles on my website if you'd like to take a look. All the best - Kevin | allforuke.com/shop
