Utility bills always in the name of the landlord. They just send you screenshots of the bills and you pay it with your next rent. No reason to hassle paying individual utility bills.
One problem with GCash is that they require you to have an ACR card. However, I have an SRRV and thus I don't need an ACR card at all, but GCash doesn't accept an SRRV instead (doesn't even know what it is?) .
Can anyone confirm if it's easy to get your GCash phone number validated? Lots of Expats are saying they can't use GCash because GCash told them they can't confirm their identity. Any easy fixes?
It depends, mines was super easy while my wife took a week or two trying. But Gcash is a way to go here in the Philippines. We can't live without it. Super convenient.
I tried signing up with cash, after hours of frustration I gave up. And a couple of my xpat buddies tell me that there was a glitch and now they can't access their money and there is no customer service to speak of.
You're sounding a little rough, Buddy. See a doctor and take a break. I know how it feels. Always take time to take care of yourself, even when it's inconvenient.
No, G-cash refused to verify my identity with tourist ACR. Further, verification says you must provide a PH permanent address, which a tourist doesn't have. Instead use Maya and verify with a passport, much quicker, and you can then get a Maya Visa for 200php as well which allows withdrawing cash at ATMs for only 18php.
Sorry bro you should prob delete this video and take a break until your voice is better. Video was hard to watch it sounds like you’re hurting from talking.
I understand and appreciate your concern. However, my only concern is giving you guys the value you deserve regardless. Besides, this video is long overdue.

Very nice video. My question, do you need a Philippine phone number for this, or will my US based phone work? Thanks

While it does seem your voice is struggling a bit, no need to do the video again. I could completely understand you. Thanks for the videos.
There are at least 3 different apps shoppy, shopee, shopy plus others similar. None have an icon that looks like yours. How about a link to that app.
Yes please provide the exact name
Shopee with two e's.

I didn't have an issue. Unfortunately there's a big chance the people leaving trouble aren't exactly technologically inclined.
Is a phone number from the Philippines necessary to register for GCash?
@@lextor4712 Yes. You also need a PH address and an ACR card that can only be obtained after 60 days in the PH.

I would add Food Panda
