The reason they give planets such strange names is so that they dont run out of names
Nonillion is a very real number, it comes after octillion and before decillion and the name is not just randomized. The names of numbers that massive become very repetitive because they recycle the same primary numerical prefixes like un, duo, tre, quad, quin, sex, sept, octo, non, dec, etc. So it goes million, billion, trillion, quadrillion, quintillion, sextillion, septillion, octillion, nonillion, decillion, undecillion, duodecillion, tredecillion, quattuordecillion, quindecillion, sexdecillion, septendecillion, octodecillion, novemdecillion, vigintillion, unvigintillion, and the cycle spirals down that same pattern. Okay but here's the real question tho, what do you send as a message to another planet? I mean it can't be English or ordinary language right? How would you communicate with a planet with a possible civilization if you haven't the slightest clue their means of communication?
