Sure enough, I was able to find a reference to that play he mentioned: 'The Wedding,' Pasadena Playhouse, 1935 -- 'David Niven appeared in one performance only.'
Tall and alluring yet Not the most beautiful man in the world... But who CARES when he EXUDES the Charm and humour of a true Gentleman -and knows how to use it on-screen and off!!! Charisma, thy name is Niven!!!!
David Niven introduced the great tenor Mario Lanza to Chivas Regal. Niven and Lanza became acquainted during the filming of The Toast Of New Orleans. Nice film if you don’t mind the warbling of Kathryn Grayson.
do have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like all the other Dick Cavett interviews
What's your favourite David Niven movie?
None of his movies spring to mind, but “Bring on the Empty Horses” is among the great Old Hollywood memoirs (according to me!)
'Before Winter Comes.'
The Pink Panther. Duh.
River Kwai
@@maryfitzpatrick2738 that's Alec Guinness and William Holden
Wonderful actor and a wonderful man.
Classy man that Niven.
His two autobiographys are great reads
Now that you've read them, read an actual biography, "Niv" by Graham Lord.

Oh make no mistake about it, Niven was very handsome. Particularly when younger.
Utter class , this lovely man was robbed of his speech by that terrible disease MND tragedy
You cheeky devils. You know Niv is such a draw you’re eeking these videos out, clip by clip, instead of treating us to the full interview!
It's quite annoying they don't post full interviews.
