In my honest opinion, I think “Very Good Advice” is the best scene of Alice in Wonderland because it’s the part where Alice receives her character development over wanting to be in a nonsense world like Wonderland and is starting to appreciate the real world now, and because of how zany and off-the-wall the film is, at least this scene gives it one sad moment. “For every laugh, there should be a tear,” like Walt Disney said, and besides, Alice is a very nice little girl overall. She still loves her family so much.

This song, Alice herself, and the amazing idea of making Alice in Wonderland crossover with Peter Pan so that Alice and Wendy can be best friends forever since they are voiced by the same person, are all the things that make Alice in Wonderland 1951 so special to me. I even recorded “Very Good Advice” in the parking lot of my favorite store, a Walmart next to a Home Depot.
I changed my mind about Walmart, I don’t have a favorite store anymore, I was just using it to make DVD videos. But I can still sometimes listen to this song in the parking lot and I still love this movie.
