A while back, a very close friend expressed interest in wanting one of these wonderful petrified pinecones made into a keychain.
I kept it in the back of my mind and saved this for a birthday present - which means by the time this comes out, he would have gotten this present.

Those pine cones are very cool! Ahh yes, the ol' start over again. It's been happening to me quite a bit lately.
Now, that is a cool piece. Love the setting. It shows off the stone really well.
Beautiful work. Those pinecones are pure awesome sauce.
👏 👏 👏 Bravo 👏 👏 👏
Rock skills and smithing skills together is a dream. Beautiful work Kyle!
I still believe these are tops of Horsetail rushes, but I know everyone will call them pinecones🤷♀️😊
the cross section is wrong. We do find some other things i liken to alfalfa seed heads here and have seen acorns off the Bonanza
@@ResortDog Wrong for a pinecone? I need to look at more petrified pinecones...
That sounds really cool what you can find there, I'd love a pic if you have any.
@@jennystone421 No it looks like they do, but the rushes dont look the same.
Very cool! My uncle cut and polished a half of a Moroccan pinecone last weekend. It turned out pretty good.
Beautiful job as usual! I love the bezel you made for it, so awesome!
Absolutely beautiful!!
Nice work Kyle, love the setting you made as well❤️
Amazingly beautiful!
That darn flat lap. Nice result in the end. And showing off those smithing skills.
Nice. The agate ones usually dont need to be fracture sealed first.
Very nice!😊
Sweet!!!
Nice!
That’s really cool!
How does a pinecone become petrified? It looks awesome
Very similar to that off petrified wood where it is replaced with silicate minerals over a period of time in the perfect conditions
That was wonderful to watch Kyle.

My Wallet was Rummaged Through, EVERYTHING WAS OUT OF PLACE, LIKE MY DRIVERS LIC, INS-CARD=ECT=ECT=ECT. In light of the situation, YOU KNOWS WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE DONE IN THIS MATTER!!! ANYWAYS I AM GOING TO LET EVERYTHING PERTAINING TO $$$$ TAKE A ***hiatus***.
