Fresh Care Fault! Runs Drain Pump Constantly!

Are you having problems where the drain pump runs continuously during Fresh Care cycles, where it's dry-heaving non-stop for hours trying to pump water but there is no water to pump? I've done some tests to see what cycle selections cause this to happen and which ones run normally.
0:10 - Fresh Care Problems

1:52 - Fresh Care = Cool Down
2:55 - Dry-Only Cycles
3:30 - Normal Dry-Only + Fresh Care
4:02 - 30-Minute Dry-Only + Fresh Care
4:48 - Towels + Normal Dry + Fresh Care
6:10 - Drain Pump Kicked On Again!
7:31 - Bedding + Steam [No Dry]

FYI, LG Customer Service has not been helpful on this issue. I am pretty sure it is a programming-level issue that could be resolved by a firmware update, but they want me to call a service technician to come on site to diagnose the problem. I am out of warranty for the parts and mechanics, which only have a 1-year warranty. So to bring a service technician out would be on my dime, and I think they would not diagnose a mechanical or replaceable part issue so it would be a waste of time and money.
If you have this machine and you are still under the 1-year warranty, test Fresh Care with some of the same tests that I have done. If you are getting similar results to me, please report it to LG so they can send warranty service out to diagnose it.
Anyway, don't use Fresh Care unless it is attached to a wash cycle with steam. Otherwise you risk burning out your drain pump prematurely.

My communications with LG customer service have not gone anywhere. They don’t want to accept that there is a programming error and it’s something they need to address.
