I find it amazing how skilled falconers can tame those huge wild birds... Respect for you sir, it's clear from the video that you're enjoying an amazing relationship with your eagle.
Outstanding "manning" skills! I like how the Eagle tried to preen the handler. In order to have a Golden Eagle in the US, you must be a Master Falconer, and with a special permit in some states. This is because they are normally a solo animal as stated by Miguel, temperamental, and have a locking talon strength of up to 1,000 psi (most likely a full grown healthy Female will have 1,000 psi talon strength since the females are usually 25% larger than males in the bird of prey kingdom).
Wow. As a falconer who works with two golden eagles (young male and mature female), it's wonderful to see someone else so close with their bird. Gorgeous, well tempered and calm. our birds like to have their feet stroked, but not their backs. Very particular about who handles them too.
......I gotta admit, that is the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life. Eagles are no bloody joke. You can lose an eye in a heartbeat and they have a notorious reputation for having a short fuse. I would never get that beak so close to my face, much less hug the eagle.
I didn't buyer it I got it We have some land in kerala chert haha we cut some trees for some purpose. So there was an eagle in it. I thing if you want an eagle search before April ends Feb to April is the breading season.
Did not expect him to kiss it but! hey! I myself are getting in to them, they just looks so beautiful, majestic! Owls, Peregrine Falcon etc.. they looks alluring :)
I like them all! Hopefully one day I can share the same experience(s) as you. You are definitely a credit to the Falconry world for a Golden Eagle to show that kind of bond with you and she looks well taken cared of.
The eagle is a girl / lady ;) And what about the part where she was grooming him? ;) 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
It's a bond between the owner and the bird no matter male or female. Unless you've never owned a bird you won't understand. It takes the right person a bird will trust and work. But the rewards pay off.
What an amazing display of strong bond, truly rare to see a behaving powerful to predatory bird by this type. If I can tell, through some reference that this Golden Eagle is bigger I think this is a definite female Golden Eagle. And not just idling there, seems to show that patience and relative preening (kisses, rubs feathers, rubbing it's belly) shows I think affection, I think...? I never seen or experienced looking at an falconer with this type of manning, it makes me warm and my enthusiasm makes me also to try to be one. :) Oh well, time to read more on books relating to falconry and eagle training and train 'till I get a license and a granted permission.
+Rocks Lorz I have to agree. It's an amazing relationship. Videos like this and stories from my father of having a red tail have made me want to do falconry (Golden Eagle Falconry would be awesome) but sadly I have not the time or resources for it yet (Poor college student here) so i'm just learning some till I can do it.
@@GraceBride Hi grace. Keeping Eagles is highly regulated and there are rules you must follow. One of which is taking them out to fly free frequently. They don't fly all the time in the wild because they have to conserve their energy from what food they can get, so being on the perch for quite a while resembles what they would do in the wild.
Where I’m from were we use to play paintball there were two golden eagles a male & a female they put up big nets over the top of the of the canopy of the woods we played in just so no stray paintball could harm them , it was the best ideal at the time , 20 something years later I don’t think the eagles are there anymore I haven’t been over there since 06 .
Aeglen my kestrels let me pick them up from behind you know like put my hand around their wings and pick them up.. same thing right... ok I’m sad now I’ll get an eagle...
That is so AMAZING! You are so gentle, tender and loving with the eagle - how could it not appreciate such treatment! You have a kind heart and are meant to be with animals!
We can feed train and bring up the eagles as they are friendly to humankind. They are the king of the sky. Man can learn a lot from the life of Eagles.
That is a big eagle. Plus I like how everytime it looks up its always the "boss" pose *never looking directly at the camera* isn't it strange that eagles always do that??
That's his best friend. It's really no different then owning a dog. People let dogs lick them all over they're face all the time. So i don't get why people are bashing him for caring and loving his best bud.
There is a huge difference between dogs and pet birds(be it any bird).Birds are recently domesticated when compared with dogs (it seems there is a huge time gap between the domestication). The bird's instincts(be it prey or predator) are not so subdued as in the case of a dog.If their instincts kick in, even macaws and other parrots can do significant damage to a human hand, think about an eagle or a vulture.
After watching the video now, I do embarrassingly have to admit that I did see the video so it mus have been me. Funny thing is that I don't ever use the word sheesh! It was actually a beautiful thing to see. He really did look like he was getting a little romantic though, you have to admit. Looks like a truly compassionate man and I apologize for the stupid remarks. Amazing how he trained that beautiful bird. I'd be petrified so I give him a world of credit.
Its amazing how he trust you so much i would love to have that bond with an eagle that's something not to many people get to experience and for the people who talk shit about the bird being violated and all that i bet y'all couldn't even come close to something this amazing so don't talk shit "Cause You Aint Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!" Awesome video you are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with you. It's all about manning. I've flown coopers, red-tails, kestrels, gos and peregrines and there's nothing like a well mannered bird. AND, just because they're well mannered doesn't mean that they're not deadly on game. Do you hunt your goldens? Also, if you don't mind my asking, where are you located? I, myself, am presently in So. California but soon moving to Alaska. Really look forward to flying birds up there. At any rate, thank you for sharing you birds on video.
It requires great trust on the Eagle's part, this Eagle would know the moment her/it's master would hurt it,and react accordingly,it's not dangerous ,only if you don't know what you are doing, then can you can get hurt, even killed, the man handling the Eagle has a good learning curve in handling the Eagle,or he would get hurt badly himself,he can do this, safe in the knowledge that he can handle this bird himself,or it's game over, for both of them.
In the wild, these birds don't bother with hunting for human food scraps at picnic sites or what have you. They just head to a house and fly off with the whole fridge.
This guy is passionate about his craft and loves the birds he works with. He can’t help but smooch em❤️
Oh my goodness, it's such a beautiful bird!! And the respect that man has for it is admirable.
I find it amazing how skilled falconers can tame those huge wild birds... Respect for you sir, it's clear from the video that you're enjoying an amazing relationship with your eagle.
It's really enlightening to see how much your birds love you and how much you love them (:
Oh! - she likes you and she is preening you. Birds will only preen on someone that they love and trust! What a wonderful video...
There's something relaxing about this video...especially when the bird 'grooms' him
Birds are the best. That's made my day, thank you.
Beautiful
NICE FROG.
The bond you have is beautiful. You can see the love and the respect you have for it. I love birds and I'm actually a little jealous. good for you.

What an incredible relationship. Envious doesn't even scratch the surface.

+Zeynab Uthman You'd think the eagle would've gotten angry, since he really was *RUFFLING HIS FEATHERS*
he raised it
Eagle is the best pet that you would have . I have one with me. Brahmini kite midiun size eagle
+Devanand k Bineed ...hii bro..I need an eagle as my pet...am from india, tamilnadu..how can I get

Love How He Shows This Eagle Luv & Kisses😊Such A Beautiful Creation From God/The Golden Eagle❤
I think it's hilarious how, no matter the bird, they LOVE that chest scratching.
Did not expect him to kiss it but! hey! I myself are getting in to them, they just looks so beautiful, majestic! Owls, Peregrine Falcon etc.. they looks alluring :)
Its freakin huge!!!!
Oh that’s nothing have you ever heard of a sea eagle or the Haast’s eagle? Those are giant
That's what she said
Not huge more than steller sea eagle
Thoroughly impressive relationship you have cultivated with your animals. I've enjoyed watching your videos, keep up the good work bro!
Not the biggest eagle, but by far the most impressive avian predator there is.
wow. How did you get such kindness from this beautifull creature. A wild animal trusts you completly!!!
Nothing wrong with showing affection to an animal you love. Calm down people.
1:24 He's so fluffy! He's like "Wonna fite m8?"
I like them all! Hopefully one day I can share the same experience(s) as you. You are definitely a credit to the Falconry world for a Golden Eagle to show that kind of bond with you and she looks well taken cared of.

@ONCE UPON A TIME females are larger than males
I´ve taken care of alot of wild bird adults and babies, but this is a long life wish of mine. You are a lucky man :)

*The poor bird is chained, like a locked up child bride.*
*It's sickening!*

What a wonderful animal, and a truly wonderous bond you've established with her. I bet she likes you very much.
Arms around the back?! That must take a huge amount of trust on the eagle's part. Awesome!
Aeglen my kestrels let me pick them up from behind you know like put my hand around their wings and pick them up.. same thing right... ok I’m sad now I’ll get an eagle...
What a lovely relationship you have with these animals!

awww, eagles are actually kinda sweet once they're tame :)
If I'm not mistaken, falconry includes handling eagles, too. Even owls are used, too, sometimes! :D
What a magnificent looking bird. Awesome.
We can feed train and bring up the eagles as they are friendly to humankind. They are the king of the sky. Man can learn a lot from the life of Eagles.

Aww she is so cute.
Oh my god, what an amazing bird. It inspires respect.
That's his best friend. It's really no different then owning a dog. People let dogs lick them all over they're face all the time. So i don't get why people are bashing him for caring and loving his best bud.
Yeah if the eagle ever tries to bite him that's his problem

I ktoś mi śmie ze tak piekny ptak powstał w procesie ewolucji został stworzony przez bardzo mądrego stwórcę
Perhaps the eagle taught Bruce Lee the secret of flight...
Awesome video and extremely educational. I will subscribe...
Thats freaking amazing..... Nice bird you have there!!! I admit i would never dare get as close to that beak as you are hehehe

He's in Bangkok by the sound of the background noise, if so, where on Earth he flies these birds is a mystery.
Piękny ptak

He is magnificent and majestic.
Thank you !

It's huge I wish you would explain what you're doing and why... Besides loving him.
He had to raise this bird from birth. Just so beautiful to see
