Such a magnificent animal. Have you ever seen the video of the Golden eagles snatching full size Goats off of mountains and basically carrying them down to the bottom. its the craziest thing ever to watch.
They don't carry the Goat. They throw them off the mountain lol. They only carry them to a more dangerous drop site 👍
@@josephsalmonte4995 I agree but the one video that i watched the eagle didn't let go until it was damn near at the bottom. The talons might have been caught in the skin and coat of the goat who knows, but its still a crazy scene to see. Those particular eagles are badass.
Yes, I have seen those incredible videos of Golden eagles taking down large prey, such as goats or deer, in the mountains. It's amazing to see the power and precision of the eagle's hunting skills as they swoop down and use their talons to grasp their prey mid-flight, then carry it away to a safe location to eat. These displays of natural prowess are a reminder of the incredible abilities of animals in the wild, and their impressive adaptations for survival.
Yes, I'm familiar with that video! It's amazing to see the sheer power and strength of these birds of prey as they hunt and carry prey that's larger than themselves. Nature never ceases to amaze us with its wonders.

I’ve had the joy of seeing Golden Eagles in several instances…the last time was when one showed up in my little coastal town and it was mobbed by every predator in the area: Red-tailed Hawk, Red-shouldered Hawk, Cooper’s Hawk, Sharp-shinned Hawk, White-tailed Kite-they were all very unhappy to see it. They are absolutely magnificent!
They can also be taunted by Raven high in the skies

Conflicting information in this video. First it is stated that the robohare weighs 1.5 times MORE than the bird. Shortly after, the narrator states the robot weighs 150% of the bird's body weight. You really shouldn't be a narrator if you don't understand the difference.

this was cool but i feel like this demonstration doesn’t do the eagle justice. hares can travel fast but can also turn on a dime or juke an eagle’s attack, something the little motorized motorcycle can’t do.
Trouble with real rabbits is, hard to get them to wear a camera, and people would be grossed out by the blood and guts when the eagle starts to eat it, alive.
