Wow, I hadn't realised that they were so easy to grow. That's amazing. Thanks for sharing Mark. Definitely opened my eyes.

I’d like to pickle the bean sprouts. They go great on hotdogs and sausages. Thanks for watching Chris.

You’re the second person to use that saying. So you don’t like bean sprouts? I love them in stirfry and noodle soups. I also like to pickle them and use them and sandwiches and hotdogs. They are also a super food.

That's pretty cool, and would be good in a stir fry. I cook up the Mung beans as a Filipino dish called Mongo. Saute some onions and garlic in a soup pot, then add probably 6 cups water and bring to boil. Add package of Mung beans and simmer until they get tender. Add a pound of sliced smoked sausage and a Tbsp. cumin. Simmer another 15 min, then add baby spinach leaves, and simmer 5 min. Should be fairly thick, and we always served it over rice. Enjoy.

Sometimes it’s hard to get fresh green sprouts in my local grocery store. They are great pickled for hotdogs and sandwiches

Growing Microgreens and sprouts should be part of every preppers repertoire. The seeds can store for years and ready to harvest within days.

You can grow them in bulk by using repurposed liter soda bottles. Just cut vertical slits in the sides of the bottles to allow drainage. Just use a box cutter. People will then put them in old ice chest during the growing process. Thanks for watching. Much appreciated.
