- Some idiot clipped my wing mirror and broke the side indicator/repeater lens.
A quick and easy replacement job that can also be used to replace the side repeater bulb. Also valid for the Mk3 Focus

After watching this, I looked into strobed wing mirror lights and wow, they are amazing. Fitted them yesterday and look very nice. Already been asked about them twice. I would reconsider
I might do them next when I replace the bulbs as they are losing their orange colour.
Thanks so much. I found I could use a flat bladed screwdriver to unclip the indicator from the inside without removing the mirror. Replaced indicators for dynamic (swish, swish) ones in a black colour-coded housing.
Thanks. Yes, that could work too. The video was made before I found out I could just remove the cover to install the new indicators too.

That was really helpful thanks. My driver's side mirror indicator lens and bulb somehow got broken in exactly the same position as yours did, it didn't happen during driving, very strange, it was such a specific spot, almost as if someone took a hammer and chisel to it. I was a bit wary of breaking the plastic clips, but the bulb and lens replacement went smoothly, now working again. Thanks very much. I also had a mirror spider! 😂

Hi mate very useful as always, talking of which, I can't find a video anywhere which show's the removal of the rear fog and reverse light lenses. I have got new one's for mine, but haven't a clue on how to remove them. A future video for you maybe. Thanks for all your other video's.☺

I have a Mk 2 and Mk 3 Focus and in the past 3 months both suffered an accident and broke the cover/lens.
This so annoying. Happened once with my wife’s car and twice with mine.
A van took mine off!

No, not needed but I only done it in the end for demonstration purposes
Great videos - have you ever considered changing the auxillary belts? Focus with AC has 2 stretch belts I have heard they are difficult to change thanks

The Bulb 501 you can buy anywhere that sells cars parts. The lens you can get on eBay, like I did.
Why did you remove the mirror
Because it made it easier to remove the indicator
Is this an mot failure?
If it has sharp edges, then yes.
if its busted just destroy it to get it out and clip new one in
The objective of this video is also to show how to change the bulb, so there was no point of destroying it
