I just wanted to stop in and say THANK YOU!! It took me forever to find a good beginner video! My grandmother is not doing well she is about to be 96! She said she wants to do something with her days but it's hard for her to move around. So I thought poring paint can't be that hard and it will make beautiful art for us to injoy when she is gone. Anyway you have a new subscriber and again THANK YOU for dumbing it down for us beginners! Oh and I like the silicone better!
Sorry grandmom is not feeling well! Just a thought, you can also pour paint on folded paper-Rorschach test style, then lay tshirt over it to make great memories and shirts. All the best for all your time together!
I absolutely agree! The one with silicone is vibrant where the one without is more dreamlike and they’re both gorgeous!! Two different outcomes with the same technique!
Normally I don't like an abundance of cells because its too busy for me visually. However your 2nd one was very beautiful. The larger cells with the smaller ones inside was both interesting and stunning.
Well I can't say I love them both. I really prefer the silicone no doubt. 😎 It gives attractive & clever vibe. Thank you for the educated & valuable demo. Makes me glad I spent my time here.
haha honestly they both look great. I like them both for different reasons. I think it would have to depend on what I was looking for at that specific moment.
I like them both, for different reasons. first one is very .. aurora borealis, soft, flowy, you can kinda take it in all at once. Seeing all the different shade and tonal variations of the colors used, be expressed, is also pretty cool . Second one (the one with silicone) is loud, in your face, with lots of things goin on and all of the color is very concentrated. super busy, takes a second to absorb the whole piece.. One of those ones where you feel like you see a new detail every time you look at it.
I like them both. The one with the silicone is obviously more vibrant and awesome cells, so that would be my choice because of the cells and the way in which the colors combined.
Floetrol is optional, it helps with the fluidity of the mixture. Please check out my other Experimental videos, you will see that you can get pretty good results without any Floetrol also. :) Thanks a lot! :)
So thankful youhighlight so many different approaches regarding mixing the different compounds in so great videos. Regarding both videos, somethings you would like to create more cells, so the second option is great. I am new in pouring, just starting to search before buying. Please keep posting!!
I have been looking up different ways to paint RC car bodies, it has to be a flexible paint, because the bodies are made of flexible lexan plastic that is very thin. You paint them from undernearth, so the paint doesnt get damaged when your car rolls. Can't help but this that this would not only look awesome.... But also perform well... also very cool and beautiful art!
Love this! Hmmm…now I’m curious to see Argan oil VS Silicone oil. I’ve heard of people using the hair serum but have never seen a comparison. My argan oil is expensive compared to silicone oil so I couldn’t imagine why anyone would use it, but this was back when these pours were first popular so maybe the silicone oil hadn’t been discovered yet. I’m sure argan oil would make the painting smell amazing - Lol. Now I’m seeing videos of artists using coconut oil. I suppose almost any oil would work? 🤔 Might be an interesting experiment. Great videos! New sub. I’ll be binge watching you tonight! 😁 Fantastic content!
I love this... sooo Pretty! I Dont get any cells?? Do you have any tip? Can u use too MUCH silicon oil? Cause I do take moore than 1 drop.. more like 5-10.. and i have a heat Gun But Nothing happens!
Good results... is Watrol and Floetrol the same medium? Some people prefer Australian Floetrol vs American. I wonder if Watrol has some advantages too?
Hey Robert! There is no Pouring medium involved in these pieces, only Water, Paint, and Floetrol. :) Pouring mediums, such as Liquitex Pouring Medium are not necessary at all. Even the Floetrol is not needed, you can mix your paint with only water and you are good to go, it all depends on which kind of result you want to achieve. Please have a look at my other Experimental video (Floetrol vs Only water) and you will see the difference. Thank you for watching! :)
How do you get that amount of acrylic paint? I'm a beginner in painting here in Brazil and small tubes of acrylic paint are already expensive, imagine that amount Do you use acrylic wall paint and add dye?

Hey guys! Don't forget to let us know which one you prefer! :)
I like the natural, more subtle cells with just floetrol but the cells with silicone are vibrant and gorgeous!
Thank you, I appreciate that you shared it! :)
No floetrol is gorgeous!
Liked what was on the right side.😛
I prefer the more "natural" one on the left side without silicone 😊
Silicon definitely adds some amazing cells, but the way the colors flow with each other without the silicon is also great! Wonderful job with both!
Thank you very much!

The one without silicone looks beautiful until you see the one with it. Love them both though
Thank you very much! :)

Really beautiful turnout on both, awesome!
Thank you very much, Sonie, I'm glad you like it!
I like them both, it always depends on what mood I'm in. love the music
Thank you so much! :)
Great demo, same colors side by side with and without silicone. Thank you.
Thank you very much!
I love the one with Silicone. The patterns are beautiful and the colors look rich and vibrant.
Thank you very much! :)
Such a neat comparison video! Looking at them side by side is like looking at a calm verses chaotic state of mind to me 🤩
Thanks a lot! :)
Like them both. First one has a calming effect and the second bursting with energy
Thanks a lot! :)
wow ...I like the one without silicone. yu are so good at this thanks.
Thank you very much, Joan!
The cells in the silicone one are just everything!! 😍😍
Thanks! :)

Oh, thank you very much!
love your split screen technique
Thanks a lot! :)
Thank you so much. I've been curious about trying Silicone. Now I'm going to just go for it.
Have fun! :)
Thanks a lot!
Silicone makes it more interesting for sure both are great, thanks for showing us the difference!!
Thanks a lot Ramona! :)
I love them both. I feel they go together.

The one with silicone triggers my trypophobia lmao
So I prefer the one without silicone but they are both very cool 😎
Thanks a lot! :)
Same lol
Samee I got so itchy it's unreal
Oh PLEASE!! You didn't even know what that was before you started watching UA-cam medical videos! Seriously...y'all sound silly! 🙄
I defo like the Silicone one more. So trippy and surreal!
Thanks a lot! :)

Silicon all the way!!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot!
I like them both. The one with the silicone is obviously more vibrant and awesome cells, so that would be my choice because of the cells and the way in which the colors combined.
I like one with the silicone, brighter and more interesting designs popping out everywhere. Good job
Thanks a lot! :)
This is such a good tutorial for beginners! Thanks a lot this is stunning!
I was wondering if fleotrol was that important ?
Floetrol is optional, it helps with the fluidity of the mixture.
Please check out my other Experimental videos, you will see that you can get pretty good results without any Floetrol also. :)
Thanks a lot! :)
Thank you for producing such a quick, easy to watch and informative video .
Horses for courses but the silicone one took first prize
Thank you very much! :)
No contest. Gorgeous with the silicone
Thanks, Aluson! :)
The pour with silicone is amazing. 🎉
Thanks a lot!
Love the colors and the one with silicone turned out sensational!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for being so thorough in your experiments!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! :)
Thanks for showing us the difference!
:)
I love the cells!!! Silicone it is! Beautiful!
Thank you so much, Karen!
@@VizoliArt you're welcome!
I have to say I like the one with silicon most, just a lovely array of color and texture!
Thank you very much! :)
That's quite a large difference and the one with silicone turned out the better of the two. Thank you.
Thank you very much, I have a feeling that most people prefer the one with a lot of cells. :)
@@VizoliArt it’s a mood thing, I would happily hang the silicone piece in my front room but the non silicone piece would be perfect for a bedroom
Dude ...
Seriously ....
Both are marvelous 💀💀💀
Thanks a lot!! :)
I think they both look nice and I'm thankful that you shared this so that we can see the difference. Given a choice I prefer the one with silicone
Thank you so much, Elly! :)
Both stunning
Thank you so much! :)
The silicone one is 🔥 & the other one came out nice too. however the silicone made the colors look especially brilliant and beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!
With silicone the colours look clear and the cell pops out very well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot!

Love the silicone painting! Just wanted to ask, what were you waving your hand over both paintings with?
A gas torch. Haven't used it myself, but it's supposed to bring out the lighter weight colours.
@@eausland9996 Thanks
Indeed, it was a torch. :)
Wow! Amazing what a difference 1 drop can make. I like them both...A LOT💗
Indeed, thank you very much! :)
Great tutorial! What are you spraying on both paintings before you tilt the canvas?? Grateful for the answer .
I don't spray anything on the canvas.
At which time did you see this? :)
@@VizoliArt I just saw you doing something with the canvases, and thought you sprayed, but I think you actually used a heating device of some kind?
I like the second one more. beautiful
Thanks a lot, Susan!
I like the one without silicone
Thank you so much! :)
One of with silicon was looking very beautiful. really I like both paintings very much, beautiful
Thank you very much, Dhanashree! :)
Very nice results , I personally like the one with silicone 😊
Thanks a lot! :)
The canvas with the silicone is stunning but can't compare to the flow of the colors in the no silicone canvas still both are beautiful!
Thank you very much! :)
Very beautiful vhit silicon !!!
Thanks a lot! :)
I love both ❤️
What did you spray 3:13 ?
It's just a torch, for popping the air bubbles. :) Thank you!
I love them both , but I have to say the second one is my top choice..thank you for sharing. Great work
Thanks a lot, Tammy! :)
I am planning on trying this with silicone, and you only need a drop of it? That’s crazy it looks so cool!
Yepp! :)
Thanks a lot!
hey! great work! but where do u buy the silicone from? art store? or colour shop? i cannot find it!
Please have a look at the description, I have listed all the material I use with links! :)

Its gonna be my first time. Thank you for showing the water n paint percentage. Is it necessary to add the third item as well?

100% cotton, 280g/m2.

Thank you so much!
I love this... sooo Pretty! I Dont get any cells?? Do you have any tip? Can u use too MUCH silicon oil? Cause I do take moore than 1 drop.. more like 5-10.. and i have a heat Gun But Nothing happens!
Me the same than you... But I don't use foetrol, I use white glue...
1-3 drops of Silicone oil should be enough.
Use the same paint and mixture I'm using and you will have cells, I promise! :)
They both have very different qualities, but I think I like the first better. Colors and subtlety reminded me of Dali
Thanks a lot! :)
Das Bild mit Zellen gefällt mir persönlich besser 👏. Ich liebe es, Farben in Farben zu sehen 😍. Und eine super Farbauswahl !! Bleibt gesund 🤗
Thank you very much, Tanja! :)
Best video of this kind 👏
Do you know if there’s a substitute for silicone oil?
The Floetrol itself generates cells also, but there is no issue with using Silicone, no worries. :)
@@VizoliArt thanks a lot for the info! ❤️
I want to start doing this... bit how are the cells achieved? Is it the silicone?
Indeed, it's the Silicone oil and the Floetrol mixture. :)
Wish you the best good of luck!
Without silicon, it's so beautifully merge 😍😍😍
Thank you so much! :)
This was totally cool! I need to start using silicone again!
Yeah, it creates a special result always :)

I'm using the European Floetrol here, but I tried American one also and practically speaking, there is no difference..

Why do we add pouring mediums at all? Is water not good enough? Do the mediums work like oil paint mediums?
Hey Robert!
There is no Pouring medium involved in these pieces, only Water, Paint, and Floetrol. :)
Pouring mediums, such as Liquitex Pouring Medium are not necessary at all. Even the Floetrol is not needed, you can mix your paint with only water and you are good to go, it all depends on which kind of result you want to achieve.

Is the torch necessary? Could you use another heat source? Is it about a temp that needs to be reached?
The heat activates the cells. Heat gun is also ok.
Thanks!
Cells are beautiful.
Thanks! :)
What's the name of the second song you had playing in the video? Beautiful and would love paint to it

Would this work the same with Flood Floetrol? I have heard that the Australian flow trawl that you used tends to make better cells
I believe the result will be quite similar.
