Oh my goodness the end result is so beautifully done 🤎🤍🖤 the colors are stunning I'm going to try this I might try different colors see how it turns out 🤞🤞🤞 GREAT JOB 👍💞👍
If you did a bunch of these you could possibly custom make your own kitchen tiles?
Very clever!!! Color is beautiful!
You are such a perfectionist! The technique and your video
Is so well done. I really enjoyed watching all
The stages of the project. Thank you!
Beautiful Can you paint this on white tiles
Чудесная картина!
It's a lovely piece, but please stop using the cheering noises. It's incredibly jarring in such a nice calming video and I almost didn't make it to the end.
I loved this painting and enjoyed watching everything you did, but the tricks and cheering noises and all of that are distracting and annoying. Please consider not doing that in the future because your work is gorgeous but the noises were really too much for me. Thank you.
Thank you for your Feedback....!
Completely agree. It made the video cheap and took away from the viewing experience
lol goodness you guys.. poor John.
Carolynn Toloczko No harm or unkindness was meant, I love John’s work and think he is an incredible artist. Before I wrote my feedback, I thought about how I would feel if I posted my work online and instead of letting me know if they didn’t like something, they just stopped watching. That would definitely be worse than getting a little negative feedback. I believe that that’s what it takes to make one better. I think one of the reasons that artists of all kinds post their work is because they want feedback. Sometimes it’s negative, but I truly believe that it will help them in the long run. 🙂
You've got a definite cool thing going! I can only imagine what people see when they gaze into your masterpieces! Very thought provoking and dreamy...
I like the quickness of your video. Great job!
U deserve a medal for ur design!? Now use ur straws & cut them up in small pieces & put them on ur board❤😊🎉 thx for sharing❤
Super ideya. BRAVO. 👍👍👍👍
Stunningly gorgeous.
Loved the idea, don't like the white edges; maybe black or one of the dark yellows? Kudos!
That was cool ! Appreciate your video😊
Todo un espectáculo de técnica. Me gusta. Gracias
For my taste, the borders should have been black.
I agree. I’ve never liked white on the outside of any painting.
@@olivewoo522 mee too
Nope
I would like the image continuing over the edge, which would only work if you were not using the epoxy.
Muito lindo, um profissional e tanto.
Wow 🤩 so nice 👍🏻
Монтируете вы конечно шикарно
Beautiful
Awsome work, love the colors.
very beutiful work
New subscriber. Luv how the colors mixed to make gold and black...
Amazing!
Awesome.
Muy bonito como se hace para que quede brillante
Amazing
Really beautiful .🌿🤗🌿
Very gorgeous!!!
Beau travail, j'aime beaucoup !
Waow love it !
Wow 👍👍👍👍
Beautiful piece!
Awesome
The colors blend well. Nice
Espetacular ..💯👋👋👋🇧🇷
Soooooo pretty 😍😍😍
Hello John, I am just learning and on the lookout for pouring techniques. I very much like this one and have subscribed. Can you please, if possible, comment on how to gauge the amount of epoxy resin needed per area. Thank you so much and I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Greetings John
@@JohnFranklinArt Thank you so much!!
So really cool.
The epoxy made it look more elegant
That flash dried white will peel right off that bare wood. If you’re going to make something so beautiful, why not wrap the edges with the pour and resin too - looks so much better.
Yes, that's a matter of taste. Greetings John
Your amazing
I’d have painted the edges black or a coppery gold.
Beautiful 😍
Beautiful! What kind of tape do you use ?
Please check the video description! Greetings John
Когда есть море краски разных цветов и ведро эпоксидной смолы, то можно делать такие "шедевры"!
Pretty, I am not crazy about these colors.
i dont know if it was the music, the way you did it or what, but i found it almost hypnotic lol really good thx. yeah im with Beth. Can the cheer squad ,its not needed
I just found your channel. Amazing work. Do you have a place I can buy one of your pieces?
Just email me at: JohnFranklinAr@gmx.de Best regards John
Great result all round!
Did you use Floetrol to mix the paint?
Yes
Amazing art work!! At 8:41 coming in from the top right you can see half of a cats face. At least a cats eye. And I see a weird looking duck :D
😹
Que lindo por favor yo quiero que lo traduzca en español
Music: 🏝🏖

Tell me another chose for acrylics naturel
Waisting Stros save the turtles
Lindo 💞
İt looks amazing I will try this with metallic colors 😍
You can see faces in the paint
took me a second to realise you stamped your hands with your logo to prevent video theft, quite clever
Great idea
Where? I don't see it.
Lovely!!!
People really do that for videos like this?!? So sad....
Fürdőszoba.
Unless there’s talking-to-the-viewer sounds, I mute and watch
Ashley Wright Me Too,
The snaps and cheers got annoying fast.
TIP: Warm the canvas up before pouring resin. Either by using a hot air blowdryer or sitting the canvas in the sun. Not hot, but nice and warm. Air bubbles come up faster and resin spreads nicer. I always warm my blank canvas up to remove any moisture before pouring. I live in Hawaii where it's humid, the packaged canvases need to breathe so I remove the plastic after I get them home to dry and then hit them with the blowdryer before pouring. I just kind of like it. Back in the 70's & 80's we use to make burl wood furniture, slabs of Cyprus, Walnut, Buckeye, Olive wood, etc. When the tables were ready for the finish, I used TRU-OIL, a gun stock varnish type oil. I laid it down with the edge of the palm of my hand. But before the oil, we'd take the piece from the garage to the sun for a warm-up, then back into the clean dust free garage for the oiling.
You have such lovely music playing. Then you add such awful (and LOUD!) cheering throughout the video. It’s VERY distracting and not at all enjoyable. If I hadn’t been so curious to see how the pattern came out using the straws, I would have left after the very first cheer. Please keep this i I’d with the next video you make. Thanks.
I like the final outcome, but I will use less black and more vibrant colors (maybe purple, intense blue, bright yellow and maybe teal) when I attempt it. I really liked the way you cleaned up the edges of the canvas with two coats of clean white paint. That and the shiny resin made a big difference in how the finished piece turned out - very professional. LOVELY! I’m looking forward to trying the straw technique!
I think I'm going to get into this. It looks really fun and and as someone who can't paint, this would be easy to do especially when it comes to my MD. No holding a brush. Love it.
Wow I can’t believe how beautiful this is I’m going to try this with my daughters. I hope they can love art and experimenting!!
Have fun trying! Greetings John
I like the concept.👍 But the color choices together weren't pleasing. To me, it looked like the colors went to mud. Thanx for sharing 😊
Love the way you explained everything!! This is my first time seeing this done with straws, I came out beautifully!!!
I also really LOCED the music, very relaxing
Thank you!!
The resin and clean white edges set this art apart from all the others I've seen. Terrific results! And great video composition! SUBSCRIBED!
I like that you don't speak-videos where the artist is blah, blah is not entertaining! I enjoy and appreciate the creativity of watching the pours-thank you!
Agree 💯 with you
No epoxy result
Me: eh
Epoxy result
Me: oooooh shiny
LOL! Did you hear me yelling at you, "Just SHOW ME!!". Once again, 🤯! I so love watching you work. Your pieces are like nothing else on UA-cam... Nothing! You are very inspiring, thank you for sharing your gift with us. With love from the Southern California desert, MK ♥️🌞🌵
Hello EmmKaa! Thanks for your fantastic feedback! That pleases me very much! Greetings from Hamburg! John
I disagree with ʕ•̫͡•ʕ*̫͡*ʕ•͓͡•ʔᴾᴾᴸ here I think it’s lovely. Reminds me of paisley colours
that would be a nice kitchen countertop
Hard to fit on a pink lazy Susan though...
😄😄😄
Yeah

Like the technique, I’ll use different colors though
dancingnature Me too
Не понравилось! Такие были яркие веселые кра ски,а получилась унылая грязь .жаль.....
pretty cool. i wouldnt of used black though. but thats just me
Made it muddy but I guess it's cute with the resin.
It is : "I wouldn't HAVE". And I agree.
I have that set of colors and I agree the black is not my favorite. But the outcome was cool.
Love it! First time watcher. What was your paint ratio mixed with? How much resin?
Hi Debbie! You can always find my mixing ratio for the paint in the video description ( And my color-mixing-ratio for ARTEZA colors is: - 1/5 paint + 2/5 Floetrol (I use bit.ly/Floetrol) + 2/5 water ; - Here is a mixing example for a 4cl cup: 5ml color + 10 ml Floetrol + 10 ml water ) .
I used about 80-100ml of epoxy resin. I didn't measure that exactly before.
Greetings John
I love that you showed how you finished your art. I have found that some artists do not include the process for us wanting to learn.
Him: Finishes the whole project
Me: still trying to find the straws in my house
BTW, thanks for the likes

Jennifer lmao haha imagine doing art projects in 2020 =-= not going to the store to bye art supplies
Lol
legends say he still looks at this comment
Thought I'd see every possible tool to do a pour but you topped many of them with this little trick. What a wonderful imagination. Thank you for sharing.
I'm seeing an electric guitar under stage lights with that as an all over finish. It would look fantastic!
The electric guitar is that color?
Very neat painting.
Personally, I like brighter colors but you did an amazing job.😁🎨
Ya. A Tad More Magenta ✔️ 👍
💜
Looks great! I think the gloss adds a great effect!
That's so freakin cool!!! I would hang those in my office. Maybe like the center of a table too
Man, now I wanna do thin versions of that for playing cards, like display holographic cards.
Very beautiful. So amazing! I would say stunning! Very helpful video for me!
I appreciate the different technique, but for all the bright colors you used I think there was too much black and none of the bright colors came out in the end.
I worried about the colors chosen, but when they mixed they were beautiful together.. Very inspiring , thank you
I didn’t love the colors. But cool results.
@
I like the technique and the colors you used, I want to do but the golden edges.
You make the best art pieces, I'm so happy I found a channel that mostly relates to me. Thank you Mr. Franklin
That’s awesome! Greetings John 👏
@@JohnFranklinArt thank you
I didn’t care for the colors, but I think I’d like to try the technique some day. Excellent video!
Betty Newton yeah looks like it belongs in my grandma’s house or a motel!😝
such a good thumbnail..had to click, even though I'm supposed to be doing something else. It came out so fast, I'm glad you did a replay.
Great quality work - fun to watch how you did it! I do agree though - borders in black would have really rocked!
That is beautiful! The resin over the paint makes it look so rich and the paint itself looks like it’s a topographical map. I just flat love it!
You all prolly dont care but does anybody know a way to get back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb forgot the password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Kendrick Colin Instablaster =)
@Elliot Clark Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.

That would make interesting table or countertops.

ARTE EN TUS MANOS GRACIAS VOY A HACER ARGENTINABESITOS
No need for the cheers. Your talent cheers alone!
