Don’t forget Doepfer - they’re the ones to actually offer an actual series of polyphonic modules: quad oscillators, filters, VCAs and the means to play them from a MIDI-controlled keyboard.
God damn perfect circuit! The info, the style, the humor, the down to earth nature, how is a store so good at UA-cam videos!? It's very appreciated you guys are the best!

I doubt I'll ever get to perfect circuit in person, living halfway across the globe, but its so great that you guys get to use all the amazing technology you sell you have and share these amazing pieces of gear you have with the world, and distill it down to some great bits of wisdom and musical creativity. Keep it up!
This was wonderful! One of my faves from y’all. Just getting into modular but that ensemble oscillator is definitely on my want list. After some modulation and utilities I might make that my second voice.
3:58 you are able indeed to have dedicated signal chains per voice: Doepfer (as already mentioned in another comment), Vermona, 4ms, Befaco, Mutable Instruments and others have quad modules in their portfolio. If rackspace permits, polyphony can also be achieved using mono modules.
The DFAM is SO versatile - I've actually had some huge "dark ambient' jams with DFAM + just 60hp of modules on top! It's a beautiful box - a bit tough to wrangle sometimes!
Great video! I appreciate the shout out to MI Braids, Plaits and Rings modules which have excellent sounding polyphonic options. Do Clouds or Beads count for building polyphonic layers?
i wish these supersaw modules would have an output per voice, or offer an expansion that has an output per voice, so you could get genuine vcas/filters per voice. paraphony doesnt really cut it when trying to use supersaws for string sounds, for example. i guess its hard to imagine ever really thinking to patch this together if you have a good polysynth, because it’d be so expensive to get right anyways
I loved the absolute pants off this cute AF videorama. Live a thousand lives, produce amaze content forever, reach enlightenment, control synth with chi alone, takeover fully, invite me to hang, like for real, and I wish you the absolute very best of success in all dimensions, both discovered and undiscovered, in perpituity.
I showed my grandma my modular and after a 20 minute jam which I thought went pretty well she burned me hard saying “Can you play a song with it?” 🥺
sshheeeesh
This is the funniest thing I've ever read on the internet.
I feel you my grandpa did the same :/ (he was a multi instrumentist musician btw)
well, can you ?
@@xpump876 I read this in the voice of the Big Lebowski.

Thanks!
Keep making modular synth content, there's not enough people talking about synth on the internet... I need moooreee!
I've been searching everywhere for this kind of video, thank you!

Patch Pals needs it's own channel.

LA has lots of international flights and good food if you needed more motivation 😜
These are fun! Thanks for keeping the series going.
There's actually a couple super squares in every patch pals video
I’ll fight you
Woo-hoo! Another instructive and fun Eurorack video from the hilarious Dynamic Duo!💡🙉💥🎵
I never even thought about using the voltage block like that, thats sick!
Also: Disting EX can be a complete 8 voice polysynth driven by midi and 6 cv ins to modulate your fave parameters.
This was wonderful! One of my faves from y’all. Just getting into modular but that ensemble oscillator is definitely on my want list. After some modulation and utilities I might make that my second voice.
I love each video of yours that features Jacob, the dude is just super cool
Cutest duo in modular? Yes, I believe so.
This content is insanely good.
Patch pals! You guys rock!
I love the Patch Pals!
Great job guys. Mu luv
This is an amazing video.
Sounds gorgeous
As much as I would love to go into eurorack, I can't understand the prices of the modules. They cost two Microfreak but they do less ! Wtf ?
Modules only shine when you combine them (except maybe for the 4ms SWN which shines pretty well on its own).
That Super VCFs sounded reeeeeally nice.
Really great video!
Very interesting ✌️

3:33 that first chord sounds like the one from Cameron's bedroom scene in Ferris Bueller
This is really good content
new favorite gear demo guys
Can i use the chainsaw with a midi to cv and a keyboard for triad chords?
Is this the best thing ever happen to modular community? No but i love it
delay at 11:00 is magic Thanks

where do i get the wolf shirt
y’all rock
and use some of the doepfer polyphonic stuff!
I like loopop’s technique of using a really fast arpeggio with a long release and a bunch of reverb.
Basically how chiptunes was made :)
That Demon Core sounding niiice

Demon core? Better have in stock by November, planning on making some purchases. Hey thanks guys got my Doepfer ADSR in today, works great.
When did y'all start making content?

You can definitely get polyphonic textures going with the granular effects of clouds and beads, thanks for the suggestion!
Woohoo!

Those wolf t-shirts... now you know these guys are cool.
More patch pals!
Definitely more focused . Less is more for me in Modular attitude which is much more welcoming. 👽
I need a patch pals t-shirt
