I just realized why the MC isn’t the type who don’t know how to talk to girls, like most shounen MCs. He already has a girl he’s interested in, who’s far away. He’s the oblivious rizzler with his eyes on a far away prize. I feel sorry for Colette. MC is pretty much looking right past her.

Reading the manga I am so hype for this 😂😂 I personally love the story and characters, the power system is simple and straightforward with hints of deeper intricacies, and most of all will I think is a fantastic mc as he develops.

Yep, a lot of stuff in this reminded me of other series, Black Clover in particular. The animation is crisp, the fight scenes intense, and the characters are very likeable. I was very charmed by this.

Harry Potter comparisons aside I loved the visuals, the soundtrack, the animation, and the MC. I think I might like this given how much Will reminds me of Deku(pre OFA) with being a quick study/hyper observant type character

Awesome start, although I will say that I’m a bit confused, the Magia Vander seem like they’re responsible for maintaining that barrier that keeps the sky clear. So even if he makes his way to the top of the academy and manages to become one through dungeoning, won’t he be incapable of performing the duties of his position? Obviously he’s the hero of the story so he’ll figure something out and it won’t be an issue, but at least looking forward that seems like a major flaw in his plan. Or maybe the seal is just on a countdown and the position is pretty much just a title now.

If you like how this looked and felt, I just got turned-on to an anime from 2017, Knight and Magic. Think isikie-gundam-fun mixed with great characters and GORGEOUS art. My only regret in watching it, is that they didn't continue it.😢❤

Just about everything in this one episode reminds me of Mashle, Black Clover, Harry Potter, Danmachi, My Hero Academia, and the character design and animation reminds me of Dragon Raja. It even falls just short of other revenge manga and anime, like this season’s Failure or Arifureta.

reading the manga... *spoilers* damn, our boy MC really is doing his best out there and still there are some characters that don't believe him...out of spite, jealousy, anger...everything!! i mean what more can he prove!!?? he just killed a high level monster and saved the kingdom in a certain chapter and the one that should be thankful which are the adult characters which i won't name still hates him.... won and proved himself in the grand magic tournament and still hates him... just finished and caught up in 42 chapters and boy oh boy each arc are short so the progress of the story is fast which i love and he got himself a good master...i think...
I like the story but I have to admit that I'm fed up with stories where untalented men have to keep a promise from childhood and almost kill themselves for a talented girl who sits on the literal throne of talent and society and they don't have enough friendship in them to hang out with the MC! This summer there are already 4 series with this theme. Good luck collecting subs.
