The MCs here and in Alyia strongly remind me of the male leads of the old Key titles like Clannad and Kanon or Seitokai Yakuindomo. This brings back an old trope I don't think I've seen in about a decade. Rather than the oblivious or denial trope, Kuze seems to be playing the Tsukkomi (straight man) to the ladies antics.

Great season for anime rn, hell just this one, its amazing the animation is great, art style is amazing, theres so much attention to detail with faces and expressions, and the story is just mm its great and so refreshing its unique but works well with that idea and stays true to what it is a romcom also the world building is great every character doesnt look like they just threw random things together but actually looks like it was done properly which is really nice, its pretty funny too characters are pretty cute too cant lie man, like its plays off the classic romcom tropes and builds off of it to make something unique love it also the dialogue is great, the characters have cheeky and witty lines which allows them to tease each other in an actually interesting manner

The girls wont make a move on the mc until volume 5 even then it isn't a move but an act of friendship to each other( like having an actual girl that is a friend but not a girlfriend)

In the LN, there's no one that actually have fallen in love with him, and mc actually don't care that much either. But some have been interested in him (mostly the blue hair, she's kinda like the duo that help him whenever there's a losing heroine nearby. Red hair also seems interested)

As a manga reader, i assure you this anime is going to be peak i swear this is by far the best adaptation this season has to offer. and im watching like 20 anime this season the production quality is too good
Love the animation, the colours and the environment, with that out of the way the comedy falls flat for me, the side characters is not for me, it feels like being a third-wheeler
visually it looks amazing, but it is animated by A-1 Pictures so i thought it would be animated great either way. first few minutes i thought i will quit it becaus my heart cant take too much romance things, i am single my whole life till now so it hurts my heart at some point after getting too much of the romantic aspects. maybe i manage to watch the whole show, maybe not i will see, rly like the designs so i hope i can get through it :D
As someone who has read the manga this is a bad adaptation The animation is gd but godddam they rushed too much and removed a lot of things like a lot So I will recommend everyone to read it atleast after watching the anime
just a heads up that the original source is the light novel which is the one the anime is following, the manga rearranges some stuff around so it wont be the same. Stuff that happend earlier there will happend much later in the anime

A lot of surprises this season, very underrated. I didn't expect so many to be this good.
The ending is a song that was popular in Japan in the 2000s, and combined with the animation, it makes me, as a Japanese person, feel very nostalgic.
That’s cool that they are using more old songs in anime nowadays. It’s also cool western bands are starting to be used for op’s and Ed’s as well.
