This game will always hold a special place in my heart for how different its tone is, as well as the epic soundtrack to match its darkness. That meat king mission is all kinds of fucked up.
Hitman: Contracts is so dark and nihilistic with it's tone. Honestly wouldn't mind another Hitman game like this one. Great video.
Yeah, I was kinda shocked when I replayed it for this game movie. I didn't remember it being this brutal. I was underage when I first got my hands on it, but I certainly wouldn't let my own kids play it. :P

I would love this game remade or remastered. Whichever term they use. This is excellent storytelling. This is the essence of 47.
Yea same, blood money was like that too, I remember 47 actually killing civilians in cutscenes in that one. But that's not to say the minor reboot from 2016 isn't good either.... They gave him a sense of justice in the reboot, he used to be this ruthless and efficient killer.

I always wondered what kind of bloody doctor that was... Flooding the wound with alcohol, using scalpel like an amateur, pulling the bullet so roughly he probably made him bleed even more, no stitches, just leaving him with big-ass syringe of aesthetic which could probably put down an elephant. HORRIBLE HEALTH CARE!

Jesper Kyd truly did such a wonderful job with the music in this one ..
For me 21:21 is still THE best 47's line.
Hitman should always be dark, monotonous and should induce fear.

Hitman Contracts looking back was such a weird entry into the Hitman Franchise because it`s almost like an Arthouse game.
I don't know why ppl hated this game... it was pretty fun and challenging. Adapted in a sort of remake of the first hitman..

I absolutely loved the dark, gritty tone In Hitman: contracts. Don’t get me wrong, later entries also had their moments, but contracts was something special.

I agree Hans Zimmer is a genius. He is able to play his music and make you feel something inside of you that can be very powerful. In other words his music will absolutely move you.

Right in my childhood. Just finished playing blood money again for the first time in years. Downloaded the newer ones and god the atmosphere is so wack. decided to come watch some contracts my fondest memories of the franchise started here when I was a child who shouldn’t have been playing this lol they need to make a hitman that’s dark again. The soundtrack of this game is mesmerizing. The opening scene is the shit!!!
Amen, played silent Assassin as a kid back in 2004, have yet to beat it still have it on my shelf. I barely played contracts but I liked the grim title screen, never played blood money. Back in 2013 beat absolution on 360, it was too cartoonish and bright and easy

Kenneth Sanders absolution pretty much put a big nail to Hitman when everyone was expecting alot out of it not be a babysitter or soft killer with a conscience. True useless features are unnecessary where somethings should not be touched if everyone is fine the way it is.

Great gameplay movie!
The bleakness gets a bit monotone for me, but Contracts has charm; in a dark and moody kind of way. And the animations and characters look less square and stilted than in Blood Money.
