Watch 'Alpine Rivers: The Cradle of Life' here: • Alpine Rivers: The Cra...
This is a nature documentary, which leads us into the fascinating world of deep mountain lakes. We conquer ice palaces of unsuspected beauty. In the freezers, in which elves, fairies and mountain trolls once did their mischief, we move, using a special breathing technique and with special cameras in search of nocturnal hunters, whose eyes are equipped with residual light amplifying receptors.

Free Documentary is dedicated to bring high-class documentaries to you on youtube for free. With the latest camera equipment used by well-known filmmakers working for famous production studios. You will see fascinating shots from the deep seas and up in the air, capturing great stories and pictures from everything our beautiful and interesting planet has to offer.
Enjoy stories about nature, wildlife, culture, people, history and more to come.
This mountain range crosses Europe in a wide arc for 750 Miles - the heart of the continent. A place of magical beauty, a place in which elves, fairies and mountain trolls live - according to legend and fairy tales. Krampus wanders around there too. Beware naughty people
Using specialized and specially developed cameras, rigs and equipment; recorded in 2K cinema format - we bring you a little closer to the enchantment of these magic Mountains (yeah, I know. Disneyland. The Matterhorn. I waited hours to go on that ride.)
Peaks of ice, fabled castles - the Alps have many different faces. This world is icy and dangerous, with intricate limestone caves and magically sparkling lakes hidden from sight.
The Mist lifts to reveal a breathtaking world and enchanting underwater world you’ll discover with us. A Wonderland in the Middle of Europe -You'd be surprised at the bizarre creatures there. Forget the munching stoicism of the grazing cows, Edelweiss and singing children. Think weird fish, sea monsters and pink lakes.
Three fun facts about the Alps
1. There are still about 5000 glaciers in the Alps - half of what it was in 1850. 3/4 of the current glaciers will be gone by 2050. If we don’t change our dirty fossil fuel ways.
2. The Lynx population was extinct in Slovenia but three Lynx couples were released into the wild in 1972 and it was a success. The lynx population thrived and their offspring, cousins, and other descendants have wandered and found new homes in Italy and Austria. Did you know the tufts in its ear act like a radar, giving it superhero hearing - making it able to locate distant prey and luminescent reflective eyes make this cat an exceptional hunter.
3. The Matterhorn and Mont Blanc are two of the famous peaks - more than 120 of the Alpine mountains are over 13,000 feet high
Welcome to the world of the dark and deep alpine world. They keep their mysteries well hidden.

Okay liar what are you talking about nature just looks that good
That was really weird that the viper they showed was poisonous and not venomous. (Insert sarcasm)
@@zacharyalfano9846 it's sad when we have to point out sarcastic comments, the fun of it is the sacrasm 😄👍
Truly it brings a tear to my eye. You are doing God's work.
This is absolutely stunning. I love the voice over. There is always something special about watching nature and animals.
This channel is my happy place
Ha! Nicely said and thank you so much! Stay happy and stay safe you!

@@easportsaxb8057 thnx but i have thc wich does the trick , works great for ADHD too
@@BeautifulSafety that's perfect 😀
Truly fantastic. The imagery is amazing. This ancestral land of ours really is something to behold. Even after a war that took the lives of so many Europeans life finds a way to capitalize. Truly amazing. Hopefully we can too.
If we ever crack that "frog code." Maaaaannnnnn. How they cozily exist in areas where most other creatures are covered in fur, is truly remarkable! Turning into an ice cube for the winter months and then thawing out to enjoy the warmer temperatures, (Wood Frog), is some type of Mother Nature sorcery...
An intelligent life form with similar abilities could one day visit us here.
God….not sorcery…A creator…why is that so hard to believe?
@@jeanakatherine9369this is a nature show, there are more scientists than religious folks here. That’s why it’s so hard to believe.
This costs thousands of dollars to make and I am having it free on my Android phone, God bless you for the great works you guys are doing it is very amazing.
How spectacularly clear the water is in the Alpines. Lucky are the drivers and other photographers of this gorgeous landscape. Thanks you for this video.
Nature brings joy to my heart
Indeed. And much needed especially now! I swear it’s my source of “we’re going to be okay”
@@FreeDocumentaryNature yep:)
We are a part of it not separate.
That’s a lie!!! A big sausage does !!!
Especially Alpine lakes!! LOL
This is one of my all time favorite documentaries from this channel. (It’s a tie between this and the one about the Moors.) The camerawork is beautiful. The subject is fascinating; who knew alpine lakes had so many fascinating animals? All of it is presented wonderfully and serenely. It truly captures the romance and beauty of each biome.
Thank you for uploading this. In an age of free information, ignorance is a choice. Thanks for making the other choice fun!
What a beautiful world without war... Living in peacefully and this place is very amazing to me...greetings from Borneo Island.. 👏👏👏👍🏻
It's a crazy feeling when you see these places in documentaries and you can actually say "oh hey I've been there!"
I love in the Italian Alps and was just doing that!
all that beautiful, clean water. no wonder people moved there, to the freezing cold, in the ancient times- water was a scarce resource where humans came from, towards the middle east. There's plenty of wood for fire, which is what also mattered. And stone, for building strong walls.
I've learned a lot about nature and living creatures on this channel. Interesting to watch. Recommended for any age. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Mother Nature Is Beautiful! Thanks for the hard work documenting this amazing beauty of life!

Crazy as kids in school we wouldn’t want to watch this but as we adult we see fire fascinating animals and creatures really are ❤️❤️
I salutes the whole team member , researcher and narrators who made this documentary . Really a hard work and a lot of time and patience is required to document such real natural phenomenon and many more unusual hidden facts. Shagufta Fahmid
I applaud the makers of this wonderful video, especially the work of the divers recording in the depths.

Garden of Eden on Earth. Wow, beautiful

My reasons for taking to this is escaping the thoughts that entwine my mind of having to go through a tooth extraction then a tormenting total sum of a number of implants. A must indeed. Thanks for your documentary. Total escape 👍

Watching the water flow down the mountains makes me thirsty. Living in the Rockies and drinking water from the streams was the best tasting water from sea to sea.

The Greatest CREATOR IS THE AUTHOR OF ALL LIFE 👍🏽💞🌏🌌⏳🙏🏻🕊
That was so very beautiful.
One can only wonder what may have been there that no longer is.
And in 10 or 100 years,
in perhaps 1000 years,
what I wonder will no longer be there that we have the opportunity to enjoy now ?
Man, I remember that one hidden lake in our valley in Tirol which was so glass clear, it was surreal. Even though we went up there during summer time, the water still only had 5°C. Watching this documentary makes me want to go visit my family home and walk the almost hidden trails through our woods again.
sometimes if the lake water is super clear, it can mean there's silver under it some place or a nearby incoming stream.
@@theCosmicQueen Oh I'm sure both of it might be true with that lake, either way, it was absolutely stunning.
Mantap min... 👍👍

Wonderful foto graph y & commentary…thank you for such amazing knowledge
I fish in the uintas of Utah. There are grayling there that were brought long ago from the alpines. In trade for these beautiful fish. Brook trout spawns were sent there. A grayling is a wonderful catch. I've often wondered if there's any fishers in the alpines that tell my tale. But in reverse.... 🐟 💕 🐠
Nature is always impartial ✌🏾
