This music is making a comeback in large hospitals. Two near me play it in they're halls, cafeteria and bathroom. Now it needs to come back on the FM Dial.
*This needs to come back at malls, chain stores, big-box stores and especially grocery stores - the GARBAGE played now just makes me want to leave which I often do.*
This is NOT a Muzak tape. SRP charged radio stations to get these tapes distributed in rotation for broadcast. New York's WPAT was on SRP distribution for a few years, then went back to making their own tapes. My one visit to WPAT in 1980 they were broadcasting SRP tapes.
The 101 Strings Orchestra also did another instrumental version of this song probably a different conductor was conducting the other version but both are really beautiful.
Arthur's Theme - Ron Goodwin (SRP custom track) Only You - Roger Williams Allez Vous En - SRP Orchestra (SRP custom track) Misty - Hugo Winterhalter Feels So Good - Johnny Douglas (BBC custom track) We Just Couldn't Say Goodbye - Frank Chacksfield Isle Of Capri - Franck Pourcel Follow Me - Alshire Singers The Last Waltz - Paul Muriat Smile (Charles Chaplin) - Bert Weedon Behind Closed Doors - Lenny Dee Lemon Tree - Percy Faith Friendly Persuasion - Norman Percival Won't Somebody Dance with Me - Alan Tew There's No Gettin' Over Me - Ronnie Aldrich Goodbye - Hank Levine Chorus Mean To Me - John Fox (BBC custom track) Here I Am - Tony Mottola Go Away Little Girl
Here's an update on my comment earlier...Song is not "Let's Put It All Together" by John Fox. Song is titled. "Won't Somebody Dance With Me" as recorded by Alan Tew Orchestra and Chorus. This comes from his 1975 album "To The One I Love".
This is one of the only 3 I have. I bought them on ebay quite a few years ago. Here ate the other 2: ua-cam.com/video/4CDnNPmjOq8/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Z5OGXkH3LGM/v-deo.html There are other people who have out up this kind of music on UA-cam.
One of my favorite beautiful music songs is Come In From The Rain by Frank Chacksfield which isn't played here. I also love Norm Gellar's version of Where Is The Love.

did these actually come with an official tracklist? it seems as this may be the first reel to reel i’ve seen on youtube where every track has a name lol
No, the tape did not come with track listing. This tape had been up on UA-cam for some time but got taken down for Copyright. I have uploaded this with the 3 Copyright offenders removed. Before the previous post was taken down someone posted all the track information in the comments. We'll see how long this stays up before another Copyright claim arises.
Sounds great! That custom instrumental of John Fox in the 3rd quarter hour titled Let's Put It All Together (Stylistics's cover) doesn't sound like that song Let's Put It All Together. The tempo is too fast. Was that title listed on your tape legend queue sheet? Did you veriify that particular musical piece from and enclosed tape legend (cue sheet)? Normally Ebay doesn't include the cue sheets with the half track broadcast tapes for sale due to copyright issues of the cue sheet.
What is the song at 32:00 ? I see you have a playlist, but it would be helpful to give the time count on the track where each is found. Virtually all this music is unfamiliar to me. *EDIT* I see the playlist has been partially decoded below

It needs to come back
This is the best Muzak tape I have heard so far for music selection

Absolutely some of the most enjoyable music! Thank you for posting.
Go Away Little Girl is by the 101 Strings with Jack Dorsey conducting the orchestra.. I have that one.
The 101 Strings Orchestra also did another instrumental version of this song probably a different conductor was conducting the other version but both are really beautiful.

Norm Geller used the same arrangement (possibly even the same track) to back up Vic Damone on an album in the Eighties.
@@Fool3SufferingFools Yes I meant Norm Geller's instrumental version of the song. I didn't know he was in the background on Vic Damone's Version.
Please reply if you can name that tune!

The song at time 32:00 is 41-There's No Gettin' Over Me - Ronnie Aldrich.
According to what I found elsewhere on UA-cam, it appears Ronnie Milsap sang it.
17:23 : The Last Waltz
oops! didn't see the reply below, sorry!
I believe that hospitals use the Easy Listening Station on Music Choice thru satellite.
