I’m thinking about getting a 2016 a3 with 69k miles on it looks to have been very well taken care of I’ve always liked Audi :)
If you can, I highly recommend getting 2017 or 2018

I've been running apr stage 1 since 4,000 miles with e30 before anyone was actually tuning for it (I'm on 93 map but it auto comps) it seems eqt puts down some real solid numbers but my car has been such a reliable animal with apr.. seems they gave up on our platform tho ... can't even get stage 2 with them

What exactly do you need for a a3 stage 1 tune? Do you need any upgrades before the chip? I have a 2019 a3 and want a little more performance from it.
You don't have to upgrade anything for stage 1

I went with EQT stage 1 on 93 and it puts it right around 300whp. It's a huge difference!

Stage 1 doesn't require much. I recommend a turbo inlet pipe and intake. That's about it. I also recommend to get tuned by EQT. Faster and smoother

i am buying those exact parts for my 2017 audi a3, air intake, turbo inlet, and an eqt stage 1.. what is ur 0-60 now if you’ve tested it?
I timed it unofficially and it was around 4.5
@@DarinDzy damn that’s actually impressive i’m excited, also i need a bit of advice, i was planning on only getting the ecu tune, but should i also get a dsg tune? Idk much about what dsg even is
100% recommend the dsg tune. It's your transmission. It will give you way faster shifting and it'll hold rpm longer before shifting. Night and day difference!!

There are plenty of videos to show you how to do it. Too hard to explain in comments. It's a simple process tho
hey man, just one question. what should i do if i dont have 93 octane? best i can do it 91 and at times i can do 94 but i am not able to run 93. got any advice?
Get the tune that has the gas near you. If all you have is 91 then get 91. If you tune for 93 then you can't run anything less than 93
