I think part of it is that she doesn't get into UA-cam drama or politics. She doesn't have cross drama with other UA-camrs. She does her actual job, and just records it. And we all have a positive interaction. Katie is so pure and must be protected at all costs! ❤

I always hated that my mom had soaps that we weren't allowed to use. It didn't make sense to me as a child. Your soaps are gorgeous, but I absolutely use them where I'm dirty and then they're gone, and watching them disappear is a part of the art!

After watching your special ingredient soap video, I decided to use the liquid from one of my homegrown pumpkins as half of my soap liquid. It turned my whitish batter super orange for a little bit (from the sugar reacting with the lye). Now the soap is surprisingly white. It has more lather than the same recipe without the pumpkin liquid.
I think the color morph made it look really cool! sell it as is and don't worry about it. Unless off course just that batch is persnickety. Then sell these ones limited!
A green and purple coloured soap? wanting to use 'exotic butters' in future soaps?! Looks like SOMEONE might like Game Theory :P. Seriously though, beautiful soap :D
I am an avid reader (sci-fi fantasy genres) and I have soooo gotten away from paper books lol. I thought I was one of the last hold outs but when I got my first iPad some years ago, I got hooked! So many books I can travel with and just keep without taking up space lol. Soapy books too lol.

I would love to see you collab with Evan and Katelyn. I think you'd vibe. You could teach them cold process soap and they could teach you resin or you could do a craft kit together and then try to make something better from your own parts
Interesting. It seems like there's always more to learn in cold process soap making. The bar is still really pretty. If the whole thing would turn light purple it wouldn't look so bad for a lavender soap.

I made a soap with beer at one point and it made a really creamy bar as well. When I did some research beforehand it said to boil out the carbonation and alcohol first so my house smelled like a brewery for a few days…… but it turned out great overall.
Could the differences be due to the drop swirl? The purple seemed more forward on the offside of the bar. Can soap colors “bleed” like clothing colors?

I can't remember if you've tried it but I find my skin loves products with mango butter in it. I would be curious to see how you think it works in your soap. Have fun!

Maybe your previous batch in that mold affected this one? I've experienced color morphing after using a silicone mold that was used in a previous batch with vanilin in it. The previous batch had vanilin. The mold was washed, and used days later. Yet, the new batch's outer edges turned brown. Now I have specific molds for vanilin scents.
Can someone help me find the mini spatulas she sometimes uses in her videos? I've gone through a couple dozen videos to check the descriptions but I can't find them 😢
This looks awesome despite the color morph! And I want to ask why is it important to have a sweet almond oil-free soap (I know the palm oil-free part tho); I'm genuinely not aware of this and very curious...
@@noaccount2494coconut isn’t actually a nut, but a fruit (a stone fruit specifically). So while it is possible for someone with a nut allergy to also have a coconut allergy, this is not necessarily the case and thus coconut can be safe for people with nut allergies (same goes for peanuts, which aren’t actually nuts either, but legumes)
Could the colour be due to gelling? Less gelling on the outside = pinkish colour, but more gelling in the middle so it stayed white? Some of my soaps ungelled look... odd so that might be it!

I’m sad to hear people have actually made the multi-colors an issue. I think it makes it amazing and very unique, that’s partly why I buy it. I find it weird anyone would buy soap and not give it a shot using it as SOAP. I swear people have to make everything an issue. If it makes Katie happy then ok but I hear the complete opposite from other customers and I hear that they LOVE the multi colored complex soaps 🤷♀️
Seems like the pretty soaps are entertaining, but maybe more of an art, but then more utilitarian soon with the same scent.then you could get a pretty statement peice and a few bars to actually use.

It's morphing outside toward in -- that happened to me. The white eventually turned lavender.
