Never realised I'm on Sean Fagan's channel .. Cheers!
What annoys me the most about these boxing vs MMA fights is how people act as if Muay thai doesn't exist. I don't want to see Fury vs Ngannou or Usman vs Canelo in either boxing or MMA. Its common sense. In boxing Canelo wins. In MMA Usman wins but muay thai rules in a cage with MMA gloves makes it interesting. I just don't understand why more people aren't asking this question. There are plenty of money making matchups that could be made when mixing the sports of boxing and mma if they meet in the middle and fight under either muay thai or kickboxing rules.
Literally the technoblade of the kickboxing world
I can see why you were a champion multiple times. You and your team are smart planners! Good statistics and exploiting their favored techniques.
Noice! It would be a dream come true if Sean Fagan and Gabriel Varga collabed IRL and do a bit of sparring
Great video! Thanks a lot for sharing this.
Great video! Really good info!
Very entertaining and informative video. I don't get to do Muay Thai as much as I would like to anymore however many of your concepts I can apply to BJJ. Thank you Gabriel and Sean.
Awesome ideas and make sense. Way to go coach.
Gabriel "the blessed" Varga. A champion in all sense of the word
@GabrielVargaOfficial is a really a good chanel. He also made few videos on switching from and to Muay Thai. This guy is legit.
I definitely miss something, last time I checked this was Sean fagans channel
Living his dream in Thailand
Occasionally he puts on videos from kickboxing and mt experts. What's the problem?
Good video
Awesome video love both of yalls videos. but what are some tips for muaythai fighters to beat kickboxers?
Clinch!
2:38 holy shit my coach Duke did commentary on Glory? I never knew that.
Really?
@@breakfist6364 yeah he owns Roufusport, an MMA gym in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This guy trains at my gym in Victoria BC
fighting with te brain
you are my hero
Simply put, Gabriel Varga makes them play his game to beat them.
God tier 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have a question for you, will you fight Muay Thai fighter by Muay Thai Rules? Thank you.
Yeah... But you fought under kickboxing rules which had limited the MT tactics.
Great 🔥
very comfortably to understand English :)
Thanks
😮
he beat them because its K-1 rules. He is just better at that rule set.
Yeap. Under MT rules means more weapons.
Doesn't matter, PETCH adapted to Glory Rules and is unstoppable.
@@checkthisout2514 One Thai out of thousands.......... therefore it does matter.
@@ROdoesITbetter Sittmonchai as well
@@checkthisout2514 ok.... You only chose the most popular Thais who compete K-1. Europeans DOMINATE that sport. Can do the same for K-1 fighters who fight top Thais in muay Thai?
But Gabriel still avoids fighting Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9. For good reason. Gabriel was TKO by Robin Von Roosmalen while Petchpanomrung outclassed him twice since the first fight was a robbery.
Yeah that's not how it works in a fight .... if A > B and B > C, A isn't automatically > C. Doesn't work that way. Fight styles, training, heart ... all that factors in
Every thing I throw is different unreadable.
He's straight up exploiting and beating up Thai fighters smh there's no strategies how to beat a Dutch style kickboxer online damn
Buakaw showed a good method to beating them when he fought Nieky Holzken. He utilized push kicks to keep Nieky out of punching range, and because Buakaw found that the stomach was the easiest workaround to the high guard.
@@drinfernodds exactly. Gabriel Varga made few videos on Buakaw. Worth watching
Fight outside
@@drinfernodds another good but completely different example is Cedric doumbe vs nieky holzken, where doumbe uses jabs and in and out movement to stay out of the pocket and avoid the counters
@@cameronkazan1630 Doumbe was excellent against Holzken
Congratulations on winning those fights, I admired Lerdsila's fighting. God blessed you with the skill and knowledge to win and may he bless everyone else in life! John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
I hope and pray you and others come to know the lord Jesus Christ.
The comment section of a kickboxing video, the perfect place to push your religion on people.
@@leonardpaulson It isn't pushing religion, it is making a comment relevant to the video and quoting scripture. It has my personal hope but nowhere is that forcing anything. You are free to read or skip my comment. You are also free to believe what I believe or not.
@@cter9291 What would you consider ACTUALLY pushing religion if not quoting scripture out of nowhere, telling everyone that you hope that they believe what you believe, and telling a fighter who trained hard and studied (who also won’t read this since it isn’t his channel) that their success was because god chose to bless them rather than the result of their own work ethic? Do you see how that sounds condescending?
Also, why would god intervene in such a petty matter as a martial arts match?
@@leonardpaulson It isn't condescending. It is stating what I hope and believe. Do you not say what you believe? What you hope for? Again, I am not forcing anything. This is a comment made not a speech or law given by your government that you have to read.
@@cter9291 Leviticus 25 : 44-46.
This is what you worship.
Pure alienation.
You've been domesticated by the abrahamic religions.
This is funny, you didn’t beat him going in blind with everything you learn as a top fighter of your own class. You study, analyze and research then exploit all his weekness to beat him. Anyone who study a pattern can figure out a counter eventually this is nothing impressive. It would be different if you went in blind and figure it out on the spot and then beat him. Funny how you still make video bragging about it too lol.
Maybe you can analize Gabriel Varga and try to beat him ;)
@@byrusmx he's kind of honest, there's few break down of losses of him by himself.
Well that’s how fighters train lol. No top level guys go in blind, fight camps isn’t about punching mitts and bags mindlessly. They analyze weaknesses and drill in counters to it constantly. No one goes in blind, you’ll won’t get anywhere do that
Probably the stupidest comment I read today. Beating Lerdsilla is "nothing impressive" hahahah as he types this on his computer chair eating Doritos.
Wake up👊
