I definitely recommend winter falls. I literally became a stay from this song. It’s heavily rnb influenced and has some of in my opinions some of the best vocals in a stray kids song. It’s a great winter song and not the usual LOUD sound from skz you’d expect. I also think DLMLU from the Japanese album is a great slow song as well.

it's wild to see the difference between the Hellevators, from how nervous and unsure they were when they first debuted to now - really shows just how far they've come in their self-confidence and overall comfort in performing! Even if the choreo isn't as intensive as some of their more current work 😅
for a slower choreo i think i'd recommend levanter! also it's not their own choreo but they did a dance cover of my house by 2pm which is a slower paced song
also dlmlu is a japanese track but is definitely more on the r&b side 😭 the vocals aren't anything crazy but idk why nobody recommended that
I think Levanter is a good example of a similar mid/slow choreo, but they were definitely much more in their style by then so theres still those hard hitting moments. I think you would really like the formations and choreo in that one! Also would love to see you react to Ex and Winter Falls (for the vocals) in the future!
I think just to note new Hellevator choreo was filmed during their tour as a surprise for their fifth anniversary. They could have been marking some of this. During the tour it is much more powerful.

Yesss this is was great!! I definitely recommend DLMLU (don’t let me love you) if you like a darker sound with a chill rnb sound, it’s a b-side on their recent Japanese album and the vocals aren’t the most crazy in it but they’re so satisfying to listen to. Like you can really feel all the emotion and heartbreak in their voices haha. A lot of the b-sides on The Sound are great, they are Japanese releases. Anyway thanks for this vid it was fun!!

Love your reactions to this group. I like your feedback and fair critiques. As far as more song recommendations I personally have fallen in love with SKZ-RECORD "Up All Night" (ft. Bangchan, Changbin, Felix, and Seungmin), "Phobia", and "Astronaut". Idk if they’re R&B but they’re vocals on these songs send me 💕

You might want to check out the following vids where the choreographies are slower than usual but not all are dance practices, some choreos were created for special performances: Levanter, Scars, The View, Silent Cry, Freeze.
Voices (special performance) not slow necessarily, but it is BEAUTIFUL.

Nevertheless, it's STUNNING. Both in how it's shot, and their execution of it... Done in a single take.
They perform this for the whole Maniac concert series and for me it has impact every time.

i agree with you on the hellevator choreo, i think some slower parts are bit underwhelming. i think they could change the choreo so it would be better but it probably has a special place in their and stays hearts too, since it’s the first song we got to experience from them.
idk if you’ve reacted to these songs but they’re on the slower side and show more of their vocals- ex, mixtape: on track, hoodie season, lovestay, hero’s soup.
also if you haven’t you should definitely check out seungmins OSTs close to you and here always.

I think Hellevator was choreographed by Lee Know in their pre-debut days? So if he was to choreograph something now, it would probably look different. They've grown so much. I love seeing the difference between the dance practices too.
I think I was one of the people that recommended Chronossaurus to you. It wasn't because I thought it was an R&B song, lol. I just thought you'd appreciate the vocals and how it has a bit of a different sound, and it seems like I was not wrong, even though it's not really your taste.
Also, YES, we appreciate how all the members sound so different to each other and unique. I totally feel you.
I also feel you so much losing it a little over Lee Know and his moves and his legs. Goddamn it if that's not all of us (or at least, definitely me). Every. Damn. Time.
About the slower/softer SKZ choreos, I think maybe you'd enjoy the choreo for Scars, Voices, 3rd Eye or Levanter? But it's a stretch. Levantar has a beautiful section where they were blindfolded, doing formation changes and everything. They did it for the Gaon Awards in 2019. It's crazy. For 3rd Eye they do a choreo with chairs and it's really nice too. But I don't think any of these are really that slow except for maybe a few moments. I can't really think of a choreo of theirs that's not hard hitting.
Other (still not R&B, they unfortunately don't have that many) SKZ songs you might enjoy or at least appreciate the vocals for that I don't think you've reacted to are Voices, Ex, Insomnia, For You, and Phobia.
Anyway, Stray Kids are releasing a new album on June 2!
They already have some teasers out. I'm so excited to see what they come out with and also to see your reactions to their new stuff!

I just want to reiterate that the choreos are not really slow. They're mostly just cool and hopefully something a little new to you. And the songs might also not be your taste. But well, sometimes they surprise you.
I don't think I can recommened one you'll like more than 3r Eye at this point. So, I'm already pretty content with that one, haha.

Mama 2022 performance is one of the more recent live performances. There are some great concert clips, but those aren’t “official” ones.
I think people are having a hard time recommending r&b songs because there aren’t any, lol, at least the way u or I may interpret r&b. They’re a more rock and hip hop leaning group. Separately, Bang Chan is ur best chance at hearing that kind of sound. He sang a snippet of an Eric Benet song (Chocolate Legs?) and the internet almost imploded. U know what the comments were like, lol.
As for me, I really like Levanter. It’s one of those songs that takes me somewhere due to production and those soft moments in the song. And in their concerts sometimes they’ll cover a song u might like. Lee Know singing The City is so beautiful to me. Otherwise, idk 🤷🏿♀️. I love their music because it motivates me in some way to move (whether physically or internally). Most of their songs aren’t what I’d call r&b tho.

Don't know if anyone told you already but in the old dance practise for Hellevator, they used demo version of the song and the vocals are just Han, Woojin, Chan & Changbin for his rap part (maybe Seungmin in the intro).
No, the demo is JUST Han doing all of the parts, and Changbin doing his rap. When 3RACHA (Well, Han and Changbin) wrote the guide. They were so incredibly pressed for time in that survival program of theirs to complete everything that it was actually an unbelievable accomplishment.
The song turned out so amazing, that to this day, most people didn't know it was created, from the first lyrics to the last scene of the MV, within an extremely short amount of time and under extensive pressure.
They had to write all the lyrics and do the composition, whilst Chan did all the production himself AND the arrangement, the choreography of course was Lino, then they ALL had to record the song and then record the MV. All within, I believe, a week.
So those two HAD to get in the studio right after they finished it, so that they could record the guide. Then subsequently speed it over to Chan and have him arrange it. Then, and only then, did it get shown to the other Kids.
That's kinda the whole point of a guide demo, to help guide those who DIDN'T create the song through the process, and demonstrate how their recording should sound. Otherwise they wouldn't know when to come in for their parts, and how to sing them.
So yeah, the only ones on that recording are Changbin for his rap, and Hannie for everything else.
That's why when they first heard it, the members discovered that no one else could hit the notes. Meaning Han had to keep both rap and vocals in that song.... I'm kinda surprised to hear someone thought that the voices were that of different members.
Wow (the danceracha one), There, Ex, Blueprint are a few songs I think may be more down your alley!
For rnb ones they would be Ex, On Track, Oh, Grow Up, Hero's Soup, 24 to 25, Scars, Another Day. That's all I remember for now. For slower performance, idk is Voices slow enough?

For B side choreo or just slower styled chore I would check out Levanter, Voices, Scars, and TOP. Not all of it is super slow but definitely more lyrical in nature. GREAT REACTION AS ALWAYS. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Not sure if you are looking for slow songs with choreo but wonder if you might like the Seungmin + Changbin song Piece of a Puzzle. I love the pace and choreo of Levanter. Was going to suggest Neverending Story but you've already done that one.

In the 5 year anniversary choreo Han was still recovering from a stomach issue and this was recorded mid US tour.

Stray kids unfortunately don’t have much of any true r&b songs yet😭 only r&b leaning songs with only some elements of r&b they always lean into more of a pop/rock electronic house or hiphop sounds and I don’t think we’ll get any for their up coming album this time around😭 I think they might be waiting for the right project to put whatever true r&b and not r&b leaning songs they got in the vault out since it’s not a normal sound for them to do but I could recommend DLMLU off their recent Japanese album I would definitely says is a hiphop & rnb track

lmao i have no idea why people associated Chronosaurus with R&B but tbh i’m not surprised, i actually can’t think of many R&B songs (especially in their early discography, you most likely have already reacted to the recent ones) and most of them are only with some influences. i thought of 3rd eye but i just checked and you already reacted to that as well.
Hellevator will always maintain legendary status but she's been rinsed and wrung for 6 years they are TIRED. The Sound b-sides have some of my favorite vocals ever from skz and of course THEE r&b track DLMU
