Changbin and Han said they wanted to try Drill rap so they asked Bangchan to make a beat… and this is what came of it. It is heavily influenced by UK Drill and Grime. It’s frikken sick!

Some context they have like three units 3racha (which is like their rap unit but more specifically the producing unit as Bang chan, Han and Chanbin write, produce i think mostly bang chan does beats or in collab with different artists depending on the type of song direction) i know they have regular friends who they collab with but highly recommend watching the 'Intro to Maxident' for each album they release have a 30 min vid explaining each song on album, development, behind the scenes, album purpose/direction in this case a love album. Whats great about the unit songs is always that the members who don't generally write like 3racha get to create their own/practice their song writing and usually 3racha help guide or give advice if they need or handle the arranging of it sometimes a different person. So for 3racha apparently Han hadn't i think heard really about drill from the intro vid it seemed like that and im guessing bang chan introduced him to it being aussie its very much big part of music here. So he created the beat so they could experiment with different rapping styles, same with Can't stop vocalracha (seungmin and I.N. the youngest too) they mention normally they have done ballads which might of fit the theme of the album but they wanted to try something more upbeat and out of their comfort song i guess also the added dancing to :D and Taste for danceracha (Felix, Lee Know and Hyunjin) i think they said something that they felt could help show their dancing but also what they enjoy too :)

so if u notice in all their title tracks or even many of their bside music videos there is a alternative version of the members its part of like skz story lore they set up that there is like a skz multiverse but like focus on two versions of them. on reddit and twitter a bunch more better explaining all the like themes, theories etc but its very much always another version of themselves and they all kinda have roles in the story too in a way thats repeated in their music videos especially in their more recent albums :) its also why they now with every album release a almost short film trailer like for No Easy was my favourtie but the oddinary one was cool was like a silent film but tonnes of references to specific anime that coincided with the frankenstien type theme and many alice in wonderland references.

i've been around for so long that i've heard quite a few kpop songs with 'circus music' samples/references now, i struggle through some great songs because of my dislike for clowns so i know it has been done before
