@@Koko3op M.I.A is heavily autotuned. I love it but its an acquired taste. You might like mixtape 2(behind the light) & mixtape 4(broken compass). Seungmin sang a cover "3108" - its gorgeous. Han has amazing vocals, but I've noticed in his solo work he uses the auto tune effects a lot. He doesn't need it, but he seems to like using it. As always they lyrics are deep. Great lyricist and performer.
Funny you mention sexuality during Mirror-- SKZ is known for having gender-neutral love songs (Save for one or two songs) and just being very vague about love interests in their music in general. They're just so incredibly inclusive with audiences of all kinds.
han jisung really has only masterpieces as each one of them are just beautiful, the vocals or rapping all just fit into place. Correct me if i'm wrong but he said he wanted to write a song like Leeknow's 'Limbo' because he loved it ,and its clear they are a little similar eg in the start.

I would recommend checking out DLMLU from the new album, Hyunjin wrote it and it has some gorg vocals. Just saw them live last Thursday and the whole show was just stunning!! Thank you for checking out more SKZ edit* also, the Freeze DP may be moving/filmed that way because it was choreographed for an awards show (though they have been doing it in concert here recently as well) so perhaps it was made for them to pace out cameras etc. I do agree the sound quality itself is kinda meh. 3RD Eye is def one of their best B-sides imo. It's so mellow, beautiful and just kind of low-key r&b... I always hate when it ends.
Changbin vocal appreciation. Yess I love it!! Also if you like not too rap heavy I would suggest Ex, LoveStay, Red Lights, Placebo, Star Lost, There (Japanese), Lost Me (Japanese). For dance, I recommend Voices special video, TA, Hellevator dance practice (recently dropped)
Freeze DP was the choreo from Golden Disc Awards 2023 and was filmed after it. I think this is the choreo (with backup dancers) that they use in their Encore stages... someone correct me if I'm wrong.
well i see what you're saying about the vocalists but even tho we have the rachas where the boys are specially concentrate in the what the racha is like , 3racha are the rappers and producers , danceracha dance and vocalracha vocals , as you're saying they can all sing so now skz don't have specific rolls anymore , so that's why for example we're listening felix and changbin sing a lot more now , you should totally listen to changbin's streetlight and their japanese song lost me ,i know you said you don't pay attention to lyrics but streetlight it's a very emotional song and really worth listening to but to wrap it up when chan picked the members even tho they had their rolls his vision was to always show what they can all do , that's why they have their solo projects so it's able to showcase their talents , in their new japanese album for example we have songs that were written by seungmin and hyunjin alone
Changbins vocals… YESSSS its very soothing and calm which is such a juxtaposition to his rap voice. Listen to snain which dropped a few days ago, it has felix, changbin and seungmin and they all sound fantastic. Its hard to differentiate between their voices in that song. Also if you want more raw vocals you should do the FIRST TAKE ones. They are beautiful
I like my music with harder edges than you usually do, but I'm in total agreement about Volcano. I wonder if Han uses that many effects because he doesn't appreciate his voice to the degree we do. I know it took him a while to feel good about his voice. I'd love a stripped down version of that song!
I was suprised when I saw that you are getting into SKZ as they are so rap-heavy and in my opinion the strongest rap line with BTS in Kpop. But I love seeing you discover more of their work. I don't remember if you already watched Hellevator, it's their pre-debut song (personally for it more like their debut as it's FANTASTIC) and in the survival show you can see how they split the parts and how Changbin and Han not only have long verses but also take most of the high vocals. They are very impressive!
There are not many of SKZ discography that is not produced and written by 3RACHA especially if it is a group song. If it is a solo song, then yes, it is possible it is produced by the individual member or some other producers.
You know what I find strange? I also don’t like rap, at all, I’ve always found it off putting, but for some reason I love stray kids music, rap and all. I don’t know if it’s their tone, their song composition or the way they use each member’s unique colours but i was immediately pulled in after hearing god’s menu and back door - and that’s coming from a certified musical theatre and ballad á la Céline Dion fan. And i still don’t particularly like any other group’s rap (except moonbyul, bless her) but with stray kids i somehow love everything they bring to the table. I wish someone could explain my own taste to me cause I’ve been baffled by this ever since I came across these boys.
12:13 I don’t think you realised (?) but this part was a duet between Chan AND Felix !! Sick is one of the few songs where we get to hear Felix sing, I was sad you just mentionned Chan LMAO
no idea if you've reacted to them yet, but i absolutely LOVE and recommend I.N.'s covers on the skz official channel (if it was you & memory of your scent are my personal favourites)!!! they are sooo good, but i'm no professional so i can't say much about the technique. only thing i can say is a love his voice so much! it's so ..? strong? sharp i think is how i hear it but it's very unique,, i love watching your breakdowns on skz's music! always happy to see an upload haha
The line distribution in songs is decided by which 3racha member produced the song, (but mainly by Chan - since he produces the majority of their music + since Chan personally chose which members were to be a part of SKZ) I know you didn’t like Connected as much, I personally think Chan’s “hate to Admit” hits hard vocally and emotionally. Hope you’ll check it out :)
I agree, Changbin's voice sounds so full! He has an amazing singing voice and is a very well known bias wrecker👀....Here are some of my personal favourites and underrated Stray Kids songs that are more vocal (or just vocals) than rap Chan, Seungmin and I.N - I'll try (day 6 cover) Seungmin- Here Always (OST) Stray Kids- Sunshine Stray Kids- Ex MV I.N- If it is you (cover song) Stray Kids- M.I.A MV Stray Kids- Hello Stranger MV
they’re all talented with their voices but i think what “positions” they take up in songs/performances reflect what they prefer/love more… agree i also wouldn’t be complaining if they did more vocal heavy music 🥰
Since you love Changbin's voice so much I suggest you watch his performance on King of Masked Singer. He really shows his skills in that performance and the song he chose isn't something you'd hear him sing in Stray Kids. Han also performed there so maybe you could make a video for both?
I completely understand your perspective on Stray Kids. I have biased EXO since 2013. What made me an exo fan was their incredible singing/vocals. Which idc how controversial I still believe are the best in the industry. With that being said, Stray Kids is the second group after EXO I’ve biased. I love them for something entirely different. I know they aren’t vocally driven so at first it was a transition to learn not to expect vocals like that in their songs. But regardless of that, I appreciate them so much because when I’m listening to their music it feels like I’m listening to who they are. Which is not a feeling that happens a lot when listening to Kpop/pop music. It’s their thoughts, feelings, and emotions in every song and it feels very authentic. Ty for reacting!
i agree with your opinion on the auto tune in volcano, don’t get me wrong i’m a big fan of autotune used as an artistic choice but when it comes to han’s vocals i’d prefer the raw vocals, please han, let us hear that gorgeous voice. with that being said he loves to use it especially in his solo stuff so it seems to be his preference
Changbin's singing voice is what cemented him as my Bias, while Lee Know and Han Bias Wreck me on the regular. I love OT8 though and all their songs are no skips for me
most of them rap and sing, so there arent official official positions, but for the rachas (3racha, vocal, and dance) theyre what the members are best at/feel most comfortable with.
When freeze dance prac. came out i heard 2 seconds of the sound and genuinely had to pause and laugh so hard. Its sounding like when rookie dancers practice in random rooms with the most horrible speakers (i a part of the rookie dancers). I guess some things don't change even w JYP budget.
Well they aren't in the JYPE building (for some reason I'm thinking this could be at One Million but I could be very wrong and its just a rented studio) so that could be the reason for the sound. They know fans like hearing the squeaks and stomps so maybe they just said whatever with replacing the audio.
OMG a Changbin vocal appreciator 😭🤲 Since you love his voice I have to recommend "The View" - to be honest I don't think you'll vibe with it overall, but Changbin has a vocal moment that's absolutely gorgeous - it's my favorite single part of any Stray Kids song.
If you haven't seen it and you prefer vocals I'd highly recommend that you check out 'I'll be your man' from one of their Kingdom performances...think you'll have to blur or something to avoid copyright though but such a great story as well as vocals!
@@Koko3op I hope you enjoyed it as much as I and many others did! They are something else live in concert too. Recently lucky enough to see them twice in Melb on the Australian leg of the tour and would definitely recommend getting along to see them if you get the chance and can! If you have got to see them, I hope you also had an amazing time!
It's possibly already been said but Changbin auditioned as a vocalist and the trainee teacher suggested he try rapping because of his tone. I love when he sings and I always hope for more with each album that they release :)
Another Day is such Tracy Champman vibes... I just... 🥰😍 and yes, that really was Changbin. 😄 They're all vocal line. 🤣 But yeah, WJ was the #1 vocal before he left. Seungmin stepped up and though he was already busting ass, he doubled his efforts when the "1st chair" vocal position fell to him. They have all grown so much, its beautiful.
as others said, SKZ don't have positions (except for Chan being the leader), but if one had to choose the vocal line, that would be Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin and I.N, whereas Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix would be the rap line. which means that vocalRACHA doesn't equal vocal line and 3racha doesn't mean rap line :) but yes, they don't want to restrict themselves, so there are no official positions. have you seen the ballad version of "I am you"? If not, I suggest you to add it to your list, I didn't see it in the recommendation. I recommend the video from the actual concert.
Speaking of Changbin's singing..... These are a mix of Changbin rapping and singing. He's got such a nice voice. I wish he would sing more often. He was on the Korean version of Masked Singer. ua-cam.com/video/QrSktrz8qF8/v-deo.html He also wrote / performed a solo song called "Streetlight." oh you need to listen to their newest skz-record called Snain! it is changbin, seungmin, and felix' song and you'll get more of changbin's beautiful vocals!
the member are all qualified as vocalists, if you’re asking why some members are called the vocalists of skz, maybe those members has stronger singing techniques
@@Koko3op the actual vocal line (seungmin, bang chan, i.n, lee know and han, vocalracha is NOT the vocal line) do have better technique than the rest. i'm saying this based on a long live singing performance of chabgbin instead of a few lines. hyunjin and felix obviously aren't that good of singers (no hate in case anyone wants to atrack me, it's not their job, their positions are rap and dance)

they’re all talented with their voices but i think what “positions” they take up in songs/performances reflect what they prefer/love more… agree i also wouldn’t be complaining if they did more vocal heavy music 🥰
I think you'd enjoy the vocals in Snain, bc we have vocal Changbin. It's a new skz-record they released last month! Lots of love for your reactions ❣️
Thank you!!
I can’t get over 3rd Eye 👏🏼
Have you reacted to the Red Lights OT8 Version? I can't remember. 🤔
Lee Know's part is my favorite, btw. 😍
I love your reactions to skz ❤
Thank you!
Since you love Changbin's voice so much I suggest you watch his performance on King of Masked Singer. He really shows his skills in that performance and the song he chose isn't something you'd hear him sing in Stray Kids. Han also performed there so maybe you could make a video for both?
Already done, it’s on my Patreon! Posted some updates on my community posts.
@@Koko3op Oh wow! Let me get your patreon then haha
Han and Seungmin sings Volcano live for the first time in 2 Kids Show Ep1 released yesterday.
Have you watched secret secret, Lost me on First take or Limbo by Lee know they are great
please react to Phobia and Voices!!! two of my fave skz songs
Have you ever listened to changbin’s solo song Streetlights? It’s gorgeous! I think you’ll enjoy it immensely.
skz is a group of aces like what do you mean thats the MAIN RAPPERS singing like that
in ssick when you thought bangchan was singing it was actually felix! one of his only singing verses to this day!!
i agree with your opinion on the auto tune in volcano, don’t get me wrong i’m a big fan of autotune used as an artistic choice but when it comes to han’s vocals i’d prefer the raw vocals, please han, let us hear that gorgeous voice. with that being said he loves to use it especially in his solo stuff so it seems to be his preference
Yeahh distortion and auto tune jar me sometimes
Changbin's singing voice is what cemented him as my Bias, while Lee Know and Han Bias Wreck me on the regular. I love OT8 though and all their songs are no skips for me
I agree with you on the freeze dance practice it literally makes me dizzy
Changbin on Masked singer. Period.Him singing. 10101010%
you need to hear "here always" and "close to you" those are both of his ost songs!
I love the song third eye.
you should definitely listen to changbin and felix’s “because”
I'm just gonna said you should react to The Sound full album..like...idk wht to say🤣
Next time you react to skz can you react to I.n memory of your scent cover it really shows his vocals off more than in the skz tracks
Omg yes! That cover was incredible!!
most of them rap and sing, so there arent official official positions, but for the rachas (3racha, vocal, and dance) theyre what the members are best at/feel most comfortable with.
I don't know why people aren't recommending Phobia knowing your preference, and Chronosaurus. Phobia is their best song hands down!!
When freeze dance prac. came out i heard 2 seconds of the sound and genuinely had to pause and laugh so hard. Its sounding like when rookie dancers practice in random rooms with the most horrible speakers (i a part of the rookie dancers). I guess some things don't change even w JYP budget.
LITERALLY?? looooooooooool
Well they aren't in the JYPE building (for some reason I'm thinking this could be at One Million but I could be very wrong and its just a rented studio) so that could be the reason for the sound. They know fans like hearing the squeaks and stomps so maybe they just said whatever with replacing the audio.
OMG a Changbin vocal appreciator 😭🤲 Since you love his voice I have to recommend "The View" - to be honest I don't think you'll vibe with it overall, but Changbin has a vocal moment that's absolutely gorgeous - it's my favorite single part of any Stray Kids song.
if you really like 3rd eye, i suggest you to Phobia!!! THE BRIDGE SOO CHEF KISS
If you haven't seen it and you prefer vocals I'd highly recommend that you check out 'I'll be your man' from one of their Kingdom performances...think you'll have to blur or something to avoid copyright though but such a great story as well as vocals!
I watched Kingdom on Patreon!
@@Koko3op I hope you enjoyed it as much as I and many others did! They are something else live in concert too. Recently lucky enough to see them twice in Melb on the Australian leg of the tour and would definitely recommend getting along to see them if you get the chance and can! If you have got to see them, I hope you also had an amazing time!
hyunjin is so underrated.
My recommendations would be Ex and Sunshine. It’s an older song but I love it!
*Edit* I also recommend TNT and insomnia
I NEED A CHRONOSAURUS REACTION 🙏🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️
It's possibly already been said but Changbin auditioned as a vocalist and the trainee teacher suggested he try rapping because of his tone. I love when he sings and I always hope for more with each album that they release :)
Changbin auditioned as a rapper with his self made rap, that vocal lesson story is before jype :) he talked about his audition in a japanese interview
Another Day is such Tracy Champman vibes... I just... 🥰😍 and yes, that really was Changbin. 😄
They're all vocal line. 🤣
But yeah, WJ was the #1 vocal before he left. Seungmin stepped up and though he was already busting ass, he doubled his efforts when the "1st chair" vocal position fell to him. They have all grown so much, its beautiful.
I LOVE ANOTHER DAY!!!!!
The sound for that practice of FEEEZE is janky, super tinny... but the dance is awesome.
as others said, SKZ don't have positions (except for Chan being the leader), but if one had to choose the vocal line, that would be Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin and I.N, whereas Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix would be the rap line. which means that vocalRACHA doesn't equal vocal line and 3racha doesn't mean rap line :)
but yes, they don't want to restrict themselves, so there are no official positions.
have you seen the ballad version of "I am you"? If not, I suggest you to add it to your list, I didn't see it in the recommendation. I recommend the video from the actual concert.
seungmin’s one line rap in ssick tho😮
8 vocals
8 rappers
8 dancers
8 visuals
I love your reactions!!☺️ I think you should react to Call me baby cover by stray kids on stage , everyone is amazing!!
3rd eye одна из моих любимых песен!!❤
side effects is THAT BITCH, it’s still my fav title track of them
changbin wrote lyrics to mirror! so yeah of course it's for the gays. binnie also wrote sorry i love you and lost me
Speaking of Changbin's singing.....
These are a mix of Changbin rapping and singing. He's got such a nice voice. I wish he would sing more often.
He was on the Korean version of Masked Singer.

He also wrote / performed a solo song called "Streetlight." (Bang Chan has a few brief lines in it, too.)

Changbin also did a duet with Felix.

oh you need to listen to their newest skz-record called Snain! it is changbin, seungmin, and felix' song and you'll get more of changbin's beautiful vocals!
They don’t really have a traditional vocal line, they all sing very well some just raps as well
Did you know the skz make their own songs gang Chan , han and chanbin make and edit all their songs Themselfs
Yupp 3racha
Changbin street light
Bang Chan hate to admit
Heaven stray kids
Mixtape 1 and 3
Please react to their song 'Voices' next time! It's an incredible song and honestly one of my favorites.
We need rapline to sing more and vocal line to rap more 😂
the member are all qualified as vocalists, if you’re asking why some members are called the vocalists of skz, maybe those members has stronger singing techniques
Yeah that’s my point, I don’t think they have stronger techniques lool
@@Koko3op the actual vocal line (seungmin, bang chan, i.n, lee know and han, vocalracha is NOT the vocal line) do have better technique than the rest. i'm saying this based on a long live singing performance of chabgbin instead of a few lines. hyunjin and felix obviously aren't that good of singers (no hate in case anyone wants to atrack me, it's not their job, their positions are rap and dance)
ngl am lowkey mad you missed felix's vocals in ssick and mistook it for chan >:c i was waiting for u to be so shook
Ex, star lost, lost me and Gone away. son buenisimas, si tiene tiempo me gustaria una reacción a estas canciones. me gusta mucho tus videos.
oh my!! Yes please react more to their more vocal songs like Neverending story, Changbin might really steal you from Lee know 🤣😍🙏🏼
I did in my other analysis! (2)
It's so sad that you didn't read the lyrics for Another Day...
I've never really been one to connect to lyrics unfortunately. I'm aware of them but they're the last thing I connect to in music, dunno why lol
Please listen to the latest SKZ JAPAN release. loads of harmonic as fuck song and lyrics - there, lost me, novel and dlmlu
