Ravi bhai please pin this comment as I want people to know about this. I own a Himalayan 450 and I recommend everyone to do use fully synthetic oil. It will significantly reduce engine vibrations a lot and bike will be lot more smoother and convenient to ride. You will definitely see a major change in engine’s performance. Also the power lag feeling due to ride by wire will be completely gone. My friend also owns H450 and running on company engine oil so I have seen this difference and advantage using fully synthetic oil on my bike. Telling this out my experience using both the bikes.
@@ayushnav_5675 kis duniya mein ho boss. Mechanic engineers engines design aur assemble karte hai. Chasis nahi banate. Bike mein har Jo loha use hota use Metallurgical engineer ki approval lagti. Bajaj/ KTM mein toh yahi hota hai. RE ka pata nahi 🤣.
Himalayan vibrates between the speed range of 90km/hr - 110km/hr. This is ideal crusing speed and its unfortunate himalayan vibrates in this range causing to loosing of nuts and bolts. Thanks I won't buy himalayan anymore. Seems like a big headache. It'd be very helpful if you could recommend an adventure bike that doesn't have this issue, I'd be happy to go for it.

Sir, resonance is a special form of vibration, where the vibration is equal to the natural frequency of the machine. The natural frequency being defined by the square root of the ratio system stiffness divided by system mass. Resonance can result in system failure, that is why it should be avoided.
5:45, there you just said it. Vibration >> inefficiency >> premature wear and tear >> unreliability. The configuration of big bore high compression single cylinder itself is stupid. No bike till date with this configuration is neither smooth nor durable. Except dakar 450 race bikes. Those must have different cylinder blocks, and lighter pistons. This Himalayan 450 has steel forged pistons, imagine the mass reciprocating up and down. That too at high revs like 6-7k RPM.
Like I said not every unit will have issues 😁 & Main cause of break was loose bolts. Not the chassis, however my main point is it can happen with OEM as well. Although Himalayan 450 is bang for buck & amazing bike BUT IF TAKEN CARE OF 😄
The problem is in company ethics and vision...they very well knows the fact of whatecer you said but they wont change the same. They know they use long stroke engine, so it is their duty to design the counter balancer and r&d the same in such a way that they can collect the vibration frequencies data across all rpm ranges. Even four wheeler engine does vibrate but they use dampers, devolope something like that, but they wont.... Even their service centers are 🗑️ garbage, their engine oil is a shit. Bajaj ne cng launch kar diya, aur in logo se ek motorcycle thik se banayi nehi jati hay. Chapri ka pulsar me bhi itne accident k bad v frame nehi tera hota hay...
Itni mehengi bike lekar, in logon ki suno, gyan, sab paid hain. I own a himalayan and I know how bad the build quality is of the metal used, by them. Gyan dene se kuch nahi hota, abhi to shuruwat hain, thodey din mein aur bhi gyan dena jab aur issues ayengey

That is true for every bike. I now use synthetic oil in my Pulsar 135 as I use anyways use it on my ADV 390 as well. Night and day difference.
@@virajvrooms Incase of Himalayan it will also act as a great step to reduce vibration so that such incidents doesn't occur again.
