I’m big fan of Auto Engina and their efforts of creating accessories with various testing and all. Recently I’ve ordered all the Himalayan 450 accessories from Auto Engina. I’m eagerly waiting for the accessories to deliver to me and excited to install them on my new Himalayan 450. All the best Team Auto Engina, we Love you❤❤🎉
Thank you, we are grateful for your support. 😊🙏
Its refreshing to see that gradually we are coming out of “jugaad”mentality and creating well researched products. Jugaad can take you thus far, beyond that point we need to be meticulous like the germans and the japanese.
Believe it or not ur germans vehicles dont have reliability and need continous maintenance and indians dont like whole in their pocket.
Recently I got new engine bolt from AutoEngina. Thanks for your service
I bought auto engina top box and rear pillion footrest and silencer shield for my Himalayan 450 and the quality of their products is very good
All power to you guys for passionate yet practically way of designing, testing & bringing the best in the market...
Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate your support 🙏😇
I am old customer of Auto Engina.....nice explanation and make more videos like this how to instalation accessories to avoid this type mistake from local mechanic ...great work..all the best👏👏
Thanks for the video. This explanation is going to be helpful and offer some peace of mind for people who bought the Himalayan engine guards from Auto Engina. This video from AutoEngina is a testimony to their commitment of offering best in class accessories and their confidence on how they are expected perform in the real world. I have always been a fan of AutoEngina accessories. That said, I would love to see a similar video on the SM-650 pannier rails.. would be even better if there is a new version coming that uses the OE mounting points instead of the shocker bolts. Good Luck!
Thank you so much for your kind words!🙏🏻🙌🏻
Correct.. I also got replacement bolt & crash guard are amazing
Thank you! Ride safe 🙌
Sir, your efforts to provide peace of mind to 450 riders is commendable, I have bought my bike in June and installed auto-engine crash guards and saddle stay, do I take my bike to the installation shop for replacement of bolts, please advise
Thank you 🙏🏻 Please contact ✉️ autoenginaassist@gmail.com for further assistance about bolt replacement.
Thanks for the quick response, I got the RHS bolt replaced at Bikoholic_progears, Noida free of cost , thanks for the much needed improvement consciously provided by autoengina, this makes me glad to be a proud customer of Your products
This has really effected people's minds. even I who was dead set on installing after-market accessories on my himalayan have ordered all OEM accessories for peace of mind. man I wish people involved in this matter would have handled this issue well, a lot of information was withheld when this issue went viral and all started blaming each other and now when things have calmed down and issue is made clear, damage was already done to after market community.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. Choosing OEM accessories amidst confusing media information is indeed a good decision. While some damage has been done, we believe there is always room for quality products.
Good information,Eagerly waiting for your rear brake pedal and gear levers
We appreciate your patience as we prepare for our upcoming launch. Stay tuned for more updates! 🙌
Does your crash Gaurd certified from RE?
So whats the load a crumple zone can take? A easy fall? Medium crash? what exactly it is?
But i am curious to ask why should one install a crash guard? What’s the point? Are the riders noob enough to fall off? Or they can’t just play safe and wait for the RE genuine accessories so that they can make RE accountable if something wrong happens?
"After contacting company official... blah blah ....However if you are using poorly designed crash guards which we have explained previously in this video can lead to damage your chassis and it can void your warranty". This statment is having ambiguity and all I can take from it is clearly that the warranty is void.
If thats the case then I think every after market seller should get their accessories(in your case crash guards) ceritified from the respective bike mfg company and then I am self assured that it is covered under warranty. Or a clear written statement from bike mfg company that these aftermarket seller's accessories are covered under warranty.
when tubeless spoke wheel will be launch for 450 ?
Need to buy that gear lever, can you please send the link or direct me from where I can get one?
Gear lever will be launching soon.🚀
Will there be no impact to the tank incase the bike falls down?
Hi I recvd bolt frm Auto Engina bt it’s normal steel bolt n previous one is stainless steel n it luk stronger thn steel bolt Whc Auto engina hdSnd me. Normal steel bolt easy it wil catch rust. Wht use of chnging bolt ?
A new updated bolt is half thread bolt which best suitable for its purpose at mounting.
i want to buy the gear leaver right behind you pls give me a link
Gear lever will be launching soon 🚀 Stay tuned!
I like your brand and am willing to put ur crash guard on my Himalayan 450
However I don't trust the local mechanics or expect RE to do it. For South Bangalore can you suggest us the best place to get the crash guard from auto engina and have them correctly and properly installed without any issues and any kind of warranty being void
Hello Sir, You can visit Big Bear Customs or HTRZ MODZ for installaton
Any idea in Mumbai@autoengina
Does royal enfield trying to hide its fault by putting blame on something else.
No it's true it's truly happened becoz of wrong installation
Isiliye gourilla 450 main sub frame change kiya
Bhai wo guerrilla hai, alag bike h. Same frame me toh alag bike nhi ho skta hai na? Main frame ek h hai, sub frame alag alag bike liye alag hai
@@worklada9533 wohi to bol rahi hu, sub frame alag hai, problem to sub frame main hi hai Himalayan 450 ka
@@Slower_Rider_93 😂 sub frame alag bike banane ke liye hota hai, problem koi frame pe nhi hai. Autoengina itna achha se samjhaya aur tujhe yehi smjh aya? 🤣
@@worklada9533 bhai logoka yehi dikkat hai sab akela hi samajh gaye, tereko bhi prblm aki hai tu bhi thora study kar pehle
@@Slower_Rider_93 achha tu study kr, mai nikal ta hu. Slow chalane me problem ho rle hai 😂
Nice explanation, and i totally agree with you on your reasons for Chassis damage.
I have a question here, if you introduce a crumple zone with is basically based out of a hollow pipe, in a severe crash, what if that pipe bents and then breaks , and since its really near rider leg, can it cause serious damage to rider???
That's some once in a lifetime incident you're talking about. If a train hits a volvo, then the passanger will die eventually.
@@worklada9533 it’s not once in a lifetime, mostly bikes after the accident tend to skid long distance on either side, and if there is a broken road or surface or hard stones this can totally happen, from my experience of more than 15 years of motorcycling on almost all kind of terrain, and falling dozens of time too, trust me not once in a lifetime
@@gentlemenandmotorcycles I had two accidents with auto engina crash guard on my bike. Once I got a hit from a swift on my right side guard. It took the impact, the exact same rod got bend. But it's not that weak that it's going to crush my leg, also I have never found that the crash guard is any near to my leg I mean any bend on it could harm my leg. And if you're experience says like that, then my friend you've been using the wrong products. I say it loudly that the zana crasguard is not a good one.
@@worklada9533 i have been using OEM crash guards, but i was talking about how the crash happens not the experience with guard, see my whole concern was the when a metal pipe bends it forms a pointy edge at the bend and that could be risky.
@@gentlemenandmotorcycles that's why I told you only a swift hit me, it took a bend. I had second crash with same crash guard due to a reckless biker and my bike with me were thrown out at least 30 meters. Auto engina crash guard did a spectacular job. My bike chassis is in good shape without any damage.
I have just one question. Why their is only single pipe going from the front vertical pipe( which holds handle bar ) to all the way upto common joint of all frame in down there , their should be double pipe just like KTMs , which is more durable , in Himalayan alll the waight of rider pillion, luggage and engine is focused on that single pipe 🙄🙄🙄🙄🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
main thing is chasic design is not so good it should be like pulsar 220 .hole engine should around engine so this will never happened
Why don't u guys make Triumph Scrambler 400X crash guard
Will be working on scrambler from month of August. Accessories are expected to be out by september
All I could summarize from this video is, RE made a poor design in making engine a stress member or the chassy.
