- True crit element + Savage axe on a weakspot = big fat numbers. Definitely gonna try more monsters with the same set&style. Also I just noticed I had 4 guardian decos in the set lol.

It's definitely not just because of OffG, True Crit Element and the general element buffs are a big factor as well since all those extra Savage mode hits are physical

xRico_ Nickox I think he means that the extra hits from savage axe slash aren't phial damage so they are able to crit meaning they get boosted by true crit element.

I'm still in the beginning of MR but I made all the elemental charge blades and I made a set for myself with
Guard 3
Offensive guard 1
Speed sharpener 3
Critical eye 4
And I have all the elemental boost decs for each element up to 3
It's not great but its what I have and I'm having a blast with savage axe
Speed sharp can be replaced by a wetfish fin+ since they have same speed.

Would it perhaps be worth to exchange the offensive guard+expert decos for a second double expert deco and a double handi deco? You're in blue for a good chunk of the fight, a 10% decrease which also effects the elemental modifier IIRC. Or do you feel offensive guard is up for enough of the fight to offset it?

If you have slinger ammo rainy you can guard point the knock down and straight into the discharge 2 and get more hits and damage. But CB ACE IS NOWWW SOOO USEFULLLLL.

But dungpods are allowed in TA rules, and dungpods doesn't affect elder dragons. So maybe we just found a loop hole
