Hi Kevin, thanks for the review. To my knowledge all Old Pulteney's are natural colour and non-chill filtered, with the exception of the 12 Year Old which is coloured and filtered. That's based on the information provided by one of their brand ambassadors in an online tasting.

Thanks for the information. I almost bought the 12 year, but checked a review from @WhiskyNeighbour and was sold on the Huddart. I prefer finding unique expressions. Cheers!

Thanks for the review Kevin! I’ve been really enjoying the Huddart as well. I’m guessing the peated casks come from Ancnoc since they are both owned by Inver House. I’ve heard that Huddart is a vatting of 8, 12 and 15 year old bourbon casks and the finished for 11 months in peated casks and is non-chill filtered and no color added.
Ah, I didn't think to check the ownership of the distilleries. Great details about the aging as well, which makes me feel good about saying that it didn't taste like a young expression. Also, others have commented that Huddart is NCF and natural color. Hearing the same from you is an excellent confirmation. Thanks and cheers, Kevin!

Hi Kevin! Hey I just got back from Bangkok! I was at a psychology conference and it’s not at all the usual place booked for conferences! It was a lot of people attending and I think a lot of people enjoyed the conf location! I enjoy the Huddart! I really disliked the Old Pulteney 12 so I was a bit concerned about choosing this expression! But a friend recommended it and I grabbed a bottle! I have heard the 18 is good! I really enjoyed this Old Pulteney expression and I thoroughly enjoyed the salty briney coastal elements I could discern in this scotch! I was very pleasantly surprised! Delicious liquid! How cool! I guess we might have been in Thailand around the same time. We skipped Bangkok in favor of another week in Chiang Mai, but it was nice to have multiple whisky shops (or wine shops that had at least a few whiskies).

Hey Kevin. Did a recent review of the Huddart. No colour added and non chill filtered from what I gathered. Definitely an under appreciated/ under discovered offering from Old Pulteney. Was speaking with a rep this past weekend and tried to get them to give up where the ex peated cask come from but was unsuccessful. Great review sir. Please check out my review over at my channel. 😊
Thanks for the help! I was pretty sure this was a NCF/natural color bottling, but I try not to assume. I get campfire smoke notes, which makes me want to say Ardbeg. 🤷 Thanks for watching, I’ll check out your review as well. Cheers!

Glenmorangie 10 or Glenfiddich perpetual vat 01 which one is best ?.
Repeat of my earlier reply: Well, that's going to come down to personal preference. I've never tasted that Glenfiddich expression, but I know that the Glenfiddich/Glenlivet/Glenmorangie mass-market expressions are all decent; even though none are exceptional. They're designed to be easy on the palate and the wallet.
Not figuring the rest of the bottle has much of a chance. Cheers.
