Haha. Awesome. Thanks for these, Johnny. I was so pumped when this album came out. It was so much heavier and better produced that Destruction Comes, I listened to it endlessly for a year or two. Fascinating to see this.
Made me sad to hear that Roger denounced Jesus. He's not the only one either. Ojoe from Undercover became an atheist, and there are more similar stories.
Amazing album, but the drums could've been mixed better. Overall they're pretty quiet except for the snare, and the kicks sound *too* triggered. They definitely had a badass guitar tone on RUTE though. Vocals were more of a death metal style which I'm not a huge fan of, but it is what it is. Other than the drums overall mix was pretty good. The songs speak for themselves. I'm personally not religious so what Roger believes now doesn't concern me (although it's sad that I never got to see them live). The lyrics are sort of what i expected from a Christian metal band but they're one of the better ones I've heard. Ferocious riffs too, and excellent drumming
