I knew I had heard the name Sam “Momo” Giancana in another episode of Buzzfeed Unsolved True Crime, and it was in the JFK Assassination episode. In that episode, it was only referenced that Giancana was “mysteriously” killed, and in this episode, it was explained why. Nice continuity there.
So fun fact: my mom's boss lives about an hour north of detroit. Years ago when she was getting some landscaping done the landscapers found a car literally BURIED in her backyard with a full skeleton in it. Never heard what happened after that, but who knows?? Maybe it was hoffa...
Update: so I guess my mom's boss never did anything about it and just LEFT IT THERE and they never actually pulled it out of the ground or anything?? Like honestly how do you just leave something like that there, in your BACKYARD??? But actually the most popular idea regarding where Hoffa is in the metro detroit area is that he's buried somewhere in the ren cen in detroit, like somewhere in the foundation of the building.

I know who did it. It was Ricky Goldsworth's dad, Nicky "Sweetheart" Goldsworth.
Love that they listened to us and brought the old style of editing back for this episode. For some reason I enjoy it so much more than the reenactments. Hope they keep it like this for the rest of the season
Kestal Gylbegajj oh well I liked the re-enactments quite
soso rei so did I, I quite liked the reenactments,
Kestal Gylbegajj I thought the reenactments were a fun change.
Thank you for getting this onto a new channel!!! I’m so happy

I'm so glad seeing so many John Mulaney fans
I’m not even past the ad yet but I’ve already liked, subscribed and turned on notifications. I’ve been counting down the hours 👏🏼👏🏼 this is going to be amazing!

Riddle 😅
Please tell me Im not the only one who thinks "Giacalone" and "Provenzano" sound like names of cheese😂
Your subconscious was most likely merging the words to create 'provalone' which is a type of cheese

So fun fact: my mom's boss lives about an hour north of detroit. Years ago when she was getting some landscaping done the landscapers found a car literally BURIED in her backyard with a full skeleton in it. Never heard what happened after that, but who knows?? Maybe it was hoffa...
Isabella C omg I need an update on this situation
Any new info??!?!?!?
GOD i hope this is true
Update: so I guess my mom's boss never did anything about it and just LEFT IT THERE and they never actually pulled it out of the ground or anything?? Like honestly how do you just leave something like that there, in your BACKYARD??? But actually the most popular idea regarding where Hoffa is in the metro detroit area is that he's buried somewhere in the ren cen in detroit, like somewhere in the foundation of the building.
@@isabellac4901 or he's somewhere buried in new Jersey! Or so I've heard lol
Love the fact that credits are now on the vids happy with the new channel!

Buzzfeed should never have let those two get away. I am so glad I found their new channel. Puppet History is amazing. And their other stuff is pretty awesome too. I highly encourage anyone who hasn't made it there yet to do so.
it is better for us all that they got away from Buzzfeed. they were singlehandedly keeping Buzzfeed afloat.
@@nothobbesmufc949true! they have more freedom in what content they want to do, & more money too
This didn’t age well lol
@@laniiblue I don't see a problem with them trying to start their own streaming platform. UA-cam can be hard for some artists. Did they handle it poorly? Maybe. Depends on how you look at it. I have every intention of trying to support them. $6 a month is not asking for too much in my opinion. Will it fail? More than likely. But you can't blame them for trying. However they did drop that bomb in a bad way. Lol.
“The Chiong Murder Case” #BuzzFeedUnsolved
Well Jimmy, I wanted to Hoffa you an offa ya can't refuse.
How big?
🤦♀️
Don’t make this a youtube red series
Holy shit, like don't even think about bringing that up, cause that wold very surely suck!
If UA-cam keeps being shitty towards actual UA-camrs and not people a part of big companies then it could happen
Aren't Shane and Ryan still part of Buzzfeed though? If so they'll have no need to make this a YT Red series. Buzzfeed has enough $$$ to prevent that.
Nah, they wouldn’t do that
I’m gonna be so sad if they pull that shit.
How it went: “the president and the mob that seems a little far fetched Ryan” “well it’s on tape”
How it should’ve gone: “the president and the mob that seems a little far fetched Ryan” “well it was Nixon” “oh yeah. Carry on”
If only Hoffa had had $50 in a money clip, he could have tossed it to distract them, thrown em off their rhythm, and made a run for it.
That or pulled out the bag of coke that he planted on them, was like what the fuck is this and then preceded to beat them up with a phone book. Because as all Chicago police knows they never leave bruises.

My friend joined the teamster's union for the benefits. She has genetically bad teeth that had been giving her problems for years so she got a job at UPS and joined the union. For every tooth she was able to fix through their fantastic dental benefits we would pour one out for Jimmy Hoffa.
My mom still works for teamsters. She has a Jimmy Hoffa portrait hanging on the wall for respect
C.C. Tinsley is the only one that knows what happened
I think its sooo cool how they got their own channel!!! Im a huge fan of buzzfeed unsolved and I constantly watch the old episodes over and over again (mostly the true crime ones but still 😂) Im so happy for you guys and I'm glad that the true crime season is back (ironically on Friday the 13th)
I'd love to see these good ghoul boys talk about edgar allen poe's death
no stfu
What is there to talk about? He died of respiratory depression from alcohol and opium abuse. No cold case there, just a trouble addict
Actually, it's a forensic mystery exactly how he died, there's a number of interesting theories that I think they could have a lot of fun with. Technically it's not a crime, but it's a very mysterious death of a well-known person in history.
Thanks! I chose it myself

Jimmy Hoffa was my mom's friend's great uncle. She (as in my mom's friend) was just as intrigued by a lot of the stories people have told as anyone else. Evidently her family didn't talk much about his moving on to the kids/grandkids.
Moving on meaning probably being assassinated?

Igna Powers Thanks I did not know that. I'm so glad Ruining History is going to be on this channel. And I agree Shane and Ryan are the best at what they do. I feel like I learn so much because of them.
Hi. Can you try to do an unsolved episode regarding the Chiong sisters of Cebu City, Philippines? The unsolved mystery occured last 1997 and is still remaining to be unsolved. You can watch the documentary Give Up Tomorrow in UA-cam and the movie Jacqueline Comes Home. It might be a risk hahaha but you might find things our justice system was unable to find.
Last 1997
Tor well 1997 2 happens next week
I thought it was a recent case? Hmm... Must've been something else.
Someone I went to school with disappeared and seven months later these two hunters found a skull in the forest. It was confirmed to be his remains and his uncles. Located a mile from their abandoned truck.
No one knows what happened. He was only 19 at the time I believe. Wish they could look into it... Maybe help spread the awareness.
Ana Eliza im from the phillipines but ive never heard of that before
DFADGE7K _ same. it just rose back to fame recently, after a movie was made about it. Our parents probably knew about it then.
