Well, night time let her through Yeah, I'm talking to you I wanna see her Precious little thing With eyes that dance around Without their clothes So buy a pretty dress Wear it out tonight For anyone you think could outdo me Or better still, be my winding wheel 'Cause I feel just like a map Without a single place to go of interest And I'm further North than South If I could shut my mouth She'd probably like this So buy a pretty dress Wear it out tonight For anyone you think could outdo me Or better still, be my winding wheel Be my winding wheel 'Cause the children laugh and sing A storm that ushers in her driving rain And I'm standing in the station Like some old record waiting on a train So buy a pretty dress Wear it out tonight For all the boys you think could outdo me Or better still, be my winding wheel Be my winding wheel Be my winding wheel, oh
+Brewington Bryant I know his black acoustic with double-guard is a Harmony Sovereign. ...but I'm almost positive this is a Gibson... if you pause it on a close up of the headstock. ..
I think he is actually playing a Gibson Heritage Acoustic with double bat winged pickguards. You can search on google and the original Heritage guitars came with black or tortoise pickguards.
+Levinmusic i agree with you. if you play from 3:00 the next couple of seconds you can just see that it says heritage and looks identical head design. And down to the very square pearlescent markers
I’m forever grateful that I existed at the same time as the Heartbreaker album!
The absolute best version. Stands up to this day.
So Much Love for this Ryan Adams Song.
Always mind-blowing when someone votes thumbs down on a performance like this.
this song reminds me of a sort of young sadness that I can't even relate to anymore. what with my being dead inside and all.
...That dag nasty t-shirt...dischord. Awesome.
Well, night time let her through
Yeah, I'm talking to you
I wanna see her
Precious little thing
With eyes that dance around
Without their clothes
So buy a pretty dress
Wear it out tonight
For anyone you think could outdo me
Or better still, be my winding wheel
'Cause I feel just like a map
Without a single place to go of interest
And I'm further North than South
If I could shut my mouth
She'd probably like this
So buy a pretty dress
Wear it out tonight
For anyone you think could outdo me
Or better still, be my winding wheel
Be my winding wheel
'Cause the children laugh and sing
A storm that ushers in her driving rain
And I'm standing in the station
Like some old record waiting on a train
So buy a pretty dress
Wear it out tonight
For all the boys you think could outdo me
Or better still, be my winding wheel
Be my winding wheel
Be my winding wheel, oh
Amazing. What is the tuning here?

+Brewington Bryant ...yes I'm familiar with his black sovereign. but I'm talking about the Gibson he's playing in this video.
+Brewington Bryant NM found it... it's a 1973 Gibson SJN Country Western with a second pickguard stuck on top.
