Also, if you like damaged musicians you should listen to Elliott Smith (much better songwriter than Adams) as well as John Moreland.

He performed an incredible show at Red Rocks, I think in 2019. Wish he'd hit the road again. Good way for him to get back on his feet, and earn some money.

I saw him at red rocks in August 2016 and it was an incredible show and I’ve been lucky enough to see him play six times in four different venues
