I agree for all those to be in the transporter patterns. La'an isn't working the way she should. I added her to the lower deck to increase my cargo size, but my mining stopped before it got to the increased size. Scopely told me they are aware of it.
I see this often where someone picks one obvious officer that should be more available, but why aren't we asking for them all? After the arc is finished, or maybe give it one extra month, add ALL the new officers to the pool. There's just no reason whatsoever why that can't happen. Same goes for the transporter patterns, honestly.
Hey Rev, can you get Scopely to update the Discovery Recruit Chest so that it has the appropriate version of Pike and Spock that appear in that series? Also SNW Pike+Spock and an anti-faction crew (Yuki/Tomalak/Mirek/etc) with appropriately stacked stats could be interesting. Would be a good introduction to how crucial firing patterns are.
I Love SNW Pike / SNW Spock / Tlann as a swarm grinder. (only lvl 39) gives me another grind crew to finish dailies without grinding for hours. and that set up works really good during swarm sunday if I run my max Franklin (Pike/Moreau/Kang) and Franklin-A with then SNW crew. in and done with event in 8 minutes :)
Only thing I see wrong with that you should be using jlay to get double mods but if your all ready max I guess it don't matter. I like my jayla bev Kang set up jayla as capt
@@bomani699 depends on how much you're grinding swarms, and how fast you're ops levelling, cos you get a massive amount of MK2s just from the dailies then you do grinding, The loot definitely helps, but i'm ops 41, i've shifted Jaylah to the side, cos i have many more mk2s then i need for a long time,

I'm in the alliance Exel there and despite lots of drama due to trolls and pirates, most of the server are friendly and we have pretty good discord channels. Unfortunately territory is pretty static and few new people coming in because we've been locked for transfers for a long time
Regarding spock, @revdeuce you said that armor shield deflection and Dodge affects mitigation round, not shield round. That is the most confusing part to me and always has been. Is there a video about how things like those three stats and armor piercing, etc fall into which of the three damage rounds of the battle log? I can't keep it straight in my head and it's always drive me nuts. How the math works on each of those subcategories to arrive at total mitigation or shield deflection respectively are of particular interest to me. Thanks so much! 🙏🙏🙏

I don't have max tier PMC. Chen is level 20 Moreau is level 10 Pike is level 10 T'Laan is max. My SNW Pike/Spock/La'an are all Level 5. I had Badgey and Ruthorford in lower deck since my others were busy elsewhere. I just doubled the number of swarm level 32s I could kill in a single trip with the SNW crew. My T7 Franklin went from maxing about 22-25 with PMT to 44 of them with SNW. My T4 Stella did the same Kuzukoh against Eclipse 28-30 with PMC vs SNW. I have to test it with my Sally but suspect the same thing will happen against 38-40 transports since I can also hit the warships in the same system and not worry about Chen/T'Laan. I am only level 30. It looks like the SNW crew has become my standard grinding crew since I don't have to worry about swapping Chen/T'Laan between ships for dailies. My only observation is that if you are going against high enough level Reds, you do need to wait more between hitting them to let your shield recover as it gets taken down further. Worth it for the number you can get in a single trip.
I have a lvl 20 account that I got a lucky pull for SNW Spock. I have a T4 Franklin and TNG crew with T'lan can get around 35 lvl 22 swarms with Spock I managed to get to 39 lvl 22. Only tried it once but Spock might be able to sub for T'lan if she isn't maxed.
I'm still a little bit lost during the last half of the video - you are most of the time calling out "SPIKE", meaning SNW Pike + SNW Spock, I got that, but leaving out the 3rd officer in that process to make clear what has been used (La'an?) on that sanctus for example. What was the 3rd to be used there? Also is the order always "Captain-Side-Side" ? As in the game it's side-cap-side. Meaning "BKJ" is Beverly Captain, Jaylah & Kang? I'd love if that would be put out a little bit more precisely in upcoming videos. I for example love doing Jaylah Captain, Kang & Bev flanking. Thanks for doing math stuff, love these, Rev!
I've actually had my best swarm results with Jaylah (t1), SNW Spock (t1), Kang (t5), stacked with defense below decks. 2 fewer kills against 44 swarms but 100% more loot than the next best crew.
Not sure if this has been brought to your attention but, La'an seems to be bugged on her lower deck ability on several ships. If i put her on my Amalgam, the ship ability does not trigger. When she is on any other ship, I can not get to 100% cargo.
Rev discusses he will do a SNW TA'AN specific video, but I cant find it in his published video. Does anyone know if this has been done and which one it is?

Do I understand correctly, scopy has developed a solution that scopy itself caused? The limitation was introduced on the part of scopy. Very smart...I can't get started on the new offis the skills are rubbish.
snw pike,spock, and any synergy engineer works better than using talan and if you rotate the science officer based on the ship use are using and are attacking.it works all the time
How would 1 of 11as capt with rare bev crusher and badgey compare..similar descriptions of abilities but likely less functional as no synergy ..also if Lower deck ability add to those numbers how does that look in similar battle logs. On other note does Badgey on bridge at tier 3 work like moreau without handicap of being for hostiles only not useful for armadas. I know badgey worked on mission hostile not sure for pvp.

tell me if i understand this correctly. So SNW Spock is basically a beefed up Bev in terms of officer ability. Thus you don't need as many stats stacked to reach full mitigation. Is that correct? So really no point to lvl SNW spock up if you have the stats already. Do I understand this correctly?
Does anyone find it weird that they made Reggie B and epic officer? Also the only leader board us F2P players has a good chance of winning is those where we grind for them, no whale is going to sit there the entire day just grinding they rather throw money at it.
The fact that they made sourcing these officers damn near impossible for ftp players without buying them shows the greed of scopely. Even if you complete all the events and battle pass you can not unlock any of these officers without winning a leaderboard. That BS chest only pays out old pike and spock which should have never been included in the first place

I've even completed all but 2 events that were set to be extremely difficult to complete in this game's economy. I'm not buying another battle pass. I can take that $20 and spend it on gas. I know with all the whales my $20 a month isn't much but they ain't getting it anymore.

Talking about easier crew sourcing, I think after 3 years, Jaylah should be available to source in the Ultra Recruit Chest.

I guess we need a way to differentiate between Pike's ... maybe "Chris Pike" & "Strange Pike".

Yes/No. You still want high stat officwrs to reach your officer bonus for the ship itself
