I don't know if I will ever experience these beautiful ecosystems in person, so thank you for bringing them to us before they are lost 😌 Human activity can truly be destructive.
@@miroslavivanov7220 Thank you, i understood what you mean, the weird thing is that UA-cam would punish the video for being too long, and people not watching it to the end etc...
ich gibt tatsächlich noch habitate die ausehen wie unsere heimischen aquarien, ich spreche da von deutschland aquarien mit klaren wasser pflanzen und steinen natürlich auch holz... 😉👍👍👍
you will usually catch 4-5 species in the same place. There are manueli, rhombeus, denticulata all in that area. It would not surprise me to find others as well. Piranhas are shy fish in general and sometimes difficult to approach under water.
Fantastic video as always. Would love to see footage of Rosemarie pikes in breeding colour. Are you going to import some to Canada? Also, if you're ever in Vancouver, i'd like to buy you a pint.
No, nobody would buy them (had them here several times), the fish is really only nice in mating colour, otherwise it just looks like any other Lugubria and certainly not worth the price.
At 3 minutes you mentioned a palm tree that grows with its trunk and Roots submerged, is that the only Palm you're aware of? Thought most of them needed a period of dryness as opposed to Bald Cypress which grow their knuckles in the Florida south but up here in the north where they are still hardy they do not make the growth forms that you see in the Southern swamp, two different type of trees of course monocots and dicots
with palm trees i am way out of my expertise. the Buritî (Mauritia flexuosa) or in Spanish countries Moriche palm is always growing in these wet places, they would be wet year around.

Colouration of the piranhas and crenicichla is pointing that they are thriving in this region 😮❤
yes, they breed when those shallow areas are available to them
Your video has one drawback - it ends
thank you. But 10 min. is quite long. If you have VR Glasses try the Xingu 360 video.
@@belowwater I wanted to say that you made a great video, but I said it in a different way.

@belowwater too bad. They sure look good in breeding dress.
