In the US they would call you an HVAC technician. Being called an engineer here would make most blush haha

I would just want to say you are my new favorite channel. Thanks for all the great videos. I am wondering if you have a video or know where I can find a video or a good detail of how to check for noise in the communication line with an oscilloscope. I have read it in the manual but haven’t really seen a real world example of how to do it. Thanks.

HVAC tech from Australia, I have the old style and it only will only cut halfway through 1-1/8 (28mm) pipe. (Think it might be because of the thicker wall on r410a pipe)
Have you tried this new one on anything similar?

I just ordered one and i only need to install 7 more rads but quite a lot of pipe though. How many cuts can i do on 15 and 22mm zinc plated steel pipe before the cutting disks need replacing? Thank you for your review good sir.

Can it cut 1/2" metal conduit? I jus got the older model and it will cut 3/4" but NOT 1/2". Found a forum online talking about it and there is a design flaw where the pawl doesnt engage enough on that size conduit specifically which unfortunately for me is the only reason i bought it for. I know its advertised as a copper pipe cutter but regular manual cutters even cut metal conduit

Can see some advantages to this tool in certain circumstances, but we have been cutting copper for years without one so it is more of a nice to have luxury tool rather than a must have. Still a nice tool all the same. At £150 I will continue with my traditional cutters though.

Looking at the rpm of the new vs the old it's not much of a difference. I have cut so many stainless steel pipes with the old one without any problems that I can't justify the price of the new one!

  • @refrigerant1

Unfortunately not possible to cut dimensions of 12-, 15-, 16mm pipes. I try few tools, but noone of them able to cut them. I show for the seller as well, He said I have right. My opinion is not worth it to buy. :(
