I like your reviews on Tigor and they have been very influential in my decision to purchase TIGOR. Thanks a lot 👍 .Have been using this vaseline trick in my earlier Maruti 800 as well as Tigor, even on new wiper blades, for their long life and superior wiping. Good informative videos.
Thanks Shantanu. I've been experiencing same problem and I will try it on my car's wiper blades. Moreover, scientific reason you gave is right, there are some chemicals in petroleum jelly to keep rubber in shape (like our skin). 👍👍👍
We had WagonR for 7 years and never faced any issue with wipers. But in Nexon wipers started giving little issues after 2 years. Although wipers on Nexon look much more premium and high quality when compared with those on WagonR.
@@nirajjoshi4460 actually the reason was continuous driving on dusty roads. Used to travel continuously to a remote location in HP where almost 150 Kms stretch was totally unmetalled and undulated. Rear and front windsheilds used to cover completely with soil and had to use wipers with water to clear it. Now I don't travel on such bad roads and changed wipers are completely fine now even after 3 years. BTW Nexon wiper blade rubber that comes preinstalled in XZ+ is made by a brand named 'Syndicate' and the rubber is made in Japan. Windshield is made by 'Saint Gobain', so it is not only sheet metal. Parts used are good quality and durable. One thing that I didn't mention earlier is the mechanical issues. On travelling two times to that same bad road, WagonR developed some mechanical issues underneath in anti roll bars (as I remember) and started making weired noised while steering. On the same road I have completed almost 35000 continuously without facing any issue in Nexon. So ya Tata have made a tough vehicle indeed.
Same things with me. I used Maruti Ritz for 6 year and did not change the wipers and finally sold it and buy TATA harrier Harrier is fantastic but wipers are making noise now after less than a year of use.

I also tried the same sometime back and it worked and the life is extended by few months atleast till next mansoon. i have Tigor XZO petrol, my query is different than this video I hope you will find sometime to clarify or advice 'I have seen in youtube videos wherein MID average was shown between 25 to 30 on highway. But my experience is different. on highways which are not so flat, we need to push gas paddle little hard to maintain the speed around 80-90 km/hr. The acceleration is smooth but due to no so straight highways I am not able to attain this average till date. the max I could achieve is around 20. and if I need to maintain 100km/hr speed then the average will definitely fall around 18.5 km/hr. I am trying to be as gentle as possible on paddle but then the speed comes down. Can you please advice what need to be improved in my driving style?
I also have tigor.xzo .try to maintain rpm at around 2000 or lesser..don't press clutch again and again ..put it in eco mode and it will definitely cross 23..
I tried that, lower RPM will reduce the speed and not sure if anything lower is sweet spot for this car. if I put it little more than 2,000 rmp it drives smoothly and pulls effortlessly. but lower rpm slowers down the car.

information is not accurate. Better way, adjust your wiper blade rubber angle. Wiper blade rubber should be perpendicular to the windscreen. Twist the arm using pliers.

Pudhca veles Bosch Che frameless wiper laav, they take the shape of the curved windshield...much better than the metal frames.
Vaseline works great ,its a must have product for cars/bikes...but girls become scary when they see it on boyz hand.

I understand your concern.. how many Servicings have you completed?
it is due to 3rd service next month. in total 8K km driven.

My average drastically increased after the 3rd service where oil was changed.
Also this helps them not freeze to the wind shield in really cold conditions
