Yay! I’m so happy to see some love for the T75s, they get so much hate, but honestly I really love my 1960B equipped with T75s, they have such a unique sound. You once again proved they are amazing speakers and it’s not that hard to mic them up. Thank you for making this video! 🤘
Yeah they’re a bit unique but I guess it’s the most used / sold speaker in the world so it can’t be that bad 😎. I mostly use Vintages and Greenbacks but every once in a while a goold ol’ T75 works like a charm 👌💪. Thanks!

I was just watching your videos with N4 guitar, but I'm learning so much about sound engineering...? What a relief...I thought I sucked at guitar, but it just sounds like I suck at guitar because I'm obviously using the wrong mic...

MD421 for most cases sounds better to my ears. But for mixing purpose e906 could work better sometimes. It's always nice to have a couple different mics
Sounds great Euge. Very nice and heavy. I myself preferred the 421.. the 906 seemed at times to have a bit of a honk to it in the mids .. perhaps amplifying the characteristics of the Celestion 75s. Would love to see the SENNHEISER MD421 vs SM57.

Thanks! That’s a tough one since I use both combinations a lot but I’d most likely go with the Sennheisers since that combination is a bit more versatile IMO than two 57s in the Fredman style.
I still have it but haven’t used it a lot. A great amp but I can get everything I need from my 800s & Plexi. It’s for sale on Reverb btw if you’re interested.

I’ll second that, I love the T75s. Currently blending two T75s with two G12EVHs. Pretty awesome combo I think.

I find the 421 is the key to the Metallica guitar tone. It’s instant Hetfield
That and Marshall Vintage cab gets you probably in the ballpark. And of course the right hands, guitar, amp etc.
