Last year during the 40 days of lent, I prayed the Rosary for the children in the country i live in and those in government pushing destructive ideologies and laws on childhood.
When i had finished praying the 40 day Rosary, this is the imaginative vision i received from God;
There was a sky with layers of thick dark gray clouds blocking out the light. Then i could see a hand, as if hidden embedded in the clouds, pulling them back to a circular opening where above the clouds was the most beautiful blue sky. Rays of light were streaming down to earth through this opening and underneath was a group of children bathed in the light all stretching their arms up to the opening.
This vision filled me with so much hope, i knew i did not merit it any way and God was giving me this to let me know that i must continue to pray, because He answers our prayers.
A few days later, and i will leave the details out, but a law the government was going to introduce was blocked.
I will add here that this proposed legislation along with the relentless pushing of these ideas by those in power and media had made me angry. Then one day i thought i am doing no good here whatsoever, it was then i decided to commit to praying the Rosary. I believe many in my country were called to pray against the proposed law. I still pray for this situation and i have made it my Lenten Rosary this year too. I dont expect more visions, because now i know Jesus, Mary will answer our prayers. We may not see the results, but that doesn't matter. I have every faith that my prayers are answered.
Praise our All Merciful God.
And thank you Fr for Rosary group and spiritual teachings, they are invaluable to me as they are keeping me focused on my prayer life.
